i just don't see the huge need for Jordan Matthews. Does most of his work out of the slot and similar YPC to Mitchell. Cooks on the other hand can work the outside and averaged close to 4 more YPC than Matthews. I wouldn't give up anything more than a Day 3 pick for him

Do you watch eagles games? He plays on the outside as well. The eagles have been garbage and haven't had anything next to him.

I rather have him than give up number 32 and butler for cooks. I think it would take a 3rd rounder

No way Id give anything more than a 7th or conditional for Matthews

Cooks is an explosive receiver at every level, Mathews is a slow possession receiver, there's no comparison.

A few of my very good friends are passionate Eagle fans so as a default i follow them fairly closely also. There is no one in Philadelphia that cares for Matthews. They would be extremely happy that he leave.

they also hated chung.

Yup, he's so great that they decided they'd rather have a true outside threat in Jeffery and speedster torrie smith instead. Matthews is what he is, a #2 possession wr. He's decent but we can draft a similar player this year with extra years on a rookie contract as opposed to making a trade.

The saints want alot and you will have him likely for two years only. Too expensive.

I told you why. They have nothing after matthews. Matthews's more of a number 2 receiver

More than a #2? What source(s) r u using...or is that your educated opinion?

Any other wrs out there in free agency?

There's also the possibility the Patriots could be preparing for life after Minitron. Given the hits he's taken and how quickly Welker fell off a cliff, it's a consideration.

It's one of the things I admire about BB. Where he can, he's looking to fill needs a head of time.

I believe he's a free agent after next season as well.

If they don't get cooks than i can see floyd being the next best option.
