If he has some need to get paid ha ha ha thats funny. The man earned a pay day. By making that int the franchise made a fortune off winning that super bowl. And from what ive read or heard he be satisfied with gilmore money.

He's making nearly 4 million this year.

Julian Edelman is making just over 5 million.

Rob Gronkowski, probably the best O player not a QB in the league, is making 6.75 million.

Like I said earlier, Butler could fix this with a phone call, by signing for an additional 4 years at 14-per (more than Gilmore for those years).

Eh. Seems to have a case of the drops from time to time. Cooks is one thing because he brings that element of a home run threat. Matthews seems to be more of a possession type wr and I don't see the point of taking some potential playing time away from a Malcolm Mitchell.

Matthews's a very good number 2 receiver and he wouldn't be as expensive long term as cooks. He's a free agent after next year.

He has been playing with a rookie QB. He can easily put up a 1000 yard season with a
good QB.

A few of my very good friends are passionate Eagle fans so as a default i follow them fairly closely also. There is no one in Philadelphia that cares for Matthews. They would be extremely happy that he leave.
