Poll: Butler for pick or for Cooks?

Cooks is incredibly overrated in my opinion, what the hell is our infatuation with another 5'9 receiver? Is there anyone on this board that would have rather had Cooks on the field than Amendola in the 4th quarter of that Super Bowl? Cooks hands are terrible and he can be taken out of the game easily. Prefer staying away from him completely.

Overall, the Pats haven't done well drafting wide receivers and Belichick obviously believes we need to add one. So, I'll go with Cooks.

I put pick just cause I love this years draft. Of course how high the Pick is will change things. If it is 30th I might be more inclined for Cooks. If 20th or about there I'd definitely take the pick. The odds are if he is signed it will be closer to 20 than 30 I think just cause more teams are in that bucket so that is why I'd take the pick.

Voted Cooks. The argument for Cooks is the speed but also in general getting younger at WR(article on Patsfans main page). Guess I didnt realize Edelman 31 and Dola 32.

I should have made that more clear. I mean let a team sign his tender or trade him for a a first round pick.

I put it together in the structure I did as either results in we lose Butler for a 1st round pick.

Yeah this may be one of the stupidest posts I have ever read here.

Clearly sarcasm on the sick of winning part...just don't think we are sending a good message to anyone by giving money to two outside guys. This core group has won us 2 super bowls in 3 years and came damn close to a third.
