Pats not trading Garoppolo - Schefter

I hate giving away jimmy G. Bill need's to get a good package for this guy. Browns have no problem offering number 12 but we need more than that.

He is going to get banged up and the recovery time will be too long or too much. Bank on it.

Oh, and I don't have cable so have no idea who the faulk you are talking about.
Why? Brady himself says he feels better at 39 than 29.
He says he doesn't hurt because he knows how to take care of himself and has to recover by Wednesday because he needs to practice. We all know he had a unique and tremendously successful approach.
Why would the guy who has figured it out be subject to what happened to guys who haven't?

Any Vegas man would bet you with those odds. It is a no brained to bet that Brady can be elite for at least one year over a QB who has six quarters of real starting experience being at least an above average QB for a decade.

I have asked the Kellerman's repeatedly why Vegas has the Patriots as Super Bowl favorites when half their team is in free agency? Not one has been able to explain it.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with their old decrepit QB who is just about to suck.

But you can't take what isn't offered.
If 12 is the maximum do we feel good in a year getting nothing because we knew he was worth more than 12?

You shouldn't worry about Belichick getting value for Garrapolo, the fact that the #12 alone isn't getting it done tells us he wants a boatload.

yes......Garoppolo is a more developed QB now than Brady was in 2002
How can you possibly say that?
Brady played in 33 games in his first 3 years. Jimmy played 6 quarters.
Where is this development other than in your mind.

lol, I already stated that I want Brady for as long as he is able to play. WTF?

And I told you I agree with that. What I don't agree with is the "fall off a cliff" arguments, there is absolutely nothing to support them.

Re: recovery time.

Brady has said his recovery time is better than ever due to his stretching and resistance training, diet etc. He said he feels better after games and during the week than he ever has dating back to high school. He's not falling off a cliff. Steady decline sure. That will eventually happen. But Brady at 80% in say, 3-4 years is still better than most of the QB's in the league.

So wait let's look at this.
What you are saying is that if you had 2002 Brady and 2016 garoppolo on the same team you would sit or trade Brady and give the job to Jimmy.

The "cliff" bullsh.t is just that, bullsh.t. There is nothing in Brady's game to support it, and using players like Favre and Manning, who didn't anywhere near the kind of care Brady takes of himself, as examples is also complete crap.

Keep betting on Max Kellerman, I'll keep betting on Brady.

Favre also isn't the best example because between his age 40(elite) to age 41(suck) seasons also correspond to Sidney Rice getting injured.

Sidney Rice was a beast in 2009. 83 catches for 1312 yards and a 68.6% catch rate.

I use Favre because he still played at a high level at 40 and his training regimen was 12 packs and Vicodin. Brady takes better care if himself better than any QB has yet people continue to insist he's just going to drop off a cliff. They don't support it with anything at all yet they continue to act as though it's fact.

Brady got pummeled in thecSuper Bowl and a week later he was downhill skiing in Montana and he told Peter King he felt great, there's nothing normal at all about that.

yup....garoppolo is the better QB at those 2 points

he is required to execute a more complex offensive scheme as Mcdaniel > Weis

in his time on the field, JG showed more than anyone in his first couple of starts.....he's been trained and he is ready....he is twice the QB that Brady was in 2002 (3rd year)

I don't think people realize how at his age, how quickly Brady can turn into Steve DeBerg

Can doesn't mean will.

Also there is no evidence whatsoever at this time that JG is twice the QB Brady was at that time. In fact i see no reason to think JG beats Bledsoe for his job.

I know.......you can't see it.....you've proven that.....which means explaining it to you would just be a waste of time

it was pretty easy to get your dander up this morning......psycho

If the Browns really are offering their #12... take it and run.

LOL........ok

if you say so

good thing you're not calling the shots

I am being realistic. If a team is stupid enough to offer a first round pick for a JG... take it and run.

If my team got a JG for a first rounder I'd want heads to roll.
