More than I'd thought it be to be honest but okay. Still spending what amounts to about .8% of your cap on 1 of the 46 players you dress for every game. I guess you can't complain much when looking at it in that context.

Myself personally I was picturing more like 1.1 or 1.2 per year.

This signing is good because he is a hard working good teammate who helps on special teams, but it does not guarantee him a roster spot.

I doubt he will be cut because he has been here for a few years & has value on special teams.

On the other hand remember Keyshawn Martin. He signed a 2 year 3 million dollar contract on Jan 16, 2016
