Floyd not working out?

Floyd has already worked out his plea deal. Whatever restrictions will be in place are already in place. I guarantee Belichick knows exactly when Floyd can and can not be with the team. The fact that the report states the team is "unlikely" to get into a bidding war indicates to me that Floyd will be available to contribute to a football team in 2017.

None of this is news to me. Belichick is probably interested in keeping Floyd around at a one-year, incentive laden deal around the veteran minimum. Frankly, I'd be surprised if anyone offers him that. 30 teams passed him on waivers, he did little with the Patriots outside of one big block, and now he's doing time. He's not worth much right now.

the main question is whether or not he can learn the pats offense and get on the same page with brady. some WR's just cant. look at ochocinco.

Unless Floyd is working out with his sister at the Maricopa County Jail, he isn't currently incarcerated. There are tweets/retweets from yesterday and today. Perhaps he is in some type of work release or program for addicts.

I believe this was in the original article. During the "incarceration" phase of his sentence he is in jail for something like a few hours a day on weekdays but is in for the whole 24 hours on weekend days. After the "incarceration" phase is over he's in home detention for the rest of the 120-day sentence. I believe the incarceration phase ends on 13 March.
