I love the red and white uniform. I think Brady looks awesome in it. But not a huge fan of the Pat logo.

Honestly, NFL can go **** themselves with the helmet bull****. A helmet is not going to prevent a concussion....the brain will move inside the skull regardless if the same helmet is used.

End the helmet BS and bring back Throwback uniforms for one or two games a season that way everyone is happy.

You forgot to mention the short-lived Super Patriot.

He was popular, briefly, then the mascot had a motorcycle accident and they Kryptonited him.

P.S. Back in the 70's, IIRC, the Pats asked the fans at a game (maybe more than one) to choose between Pat Patriot and a new logo, which they painted in the end zone as well. Pat crushed it... but the design is eerily familiar...

Wow, I'd never seen that before. Looks almost like the inspiration for Ace and Gary.

I don't care about tradition blah blah blah. I love the look of the current uniforms plain and simple. Blue>red, pat patriot is sort of ugly, etc. If I am going to wear the gear or simply look at it, I want it to look great. I doubt there are many die hard Steeler fans asking for the permanent return of their bumble bee prison jump suit lol.

I was at one of those games when they had the crowd vote. The crowd of course roared for Pat Patriot. Ironically that logo right there is better than Flaming Elvis is,

I'm part of the younger generation (25) so I'm obviously biased towards the Flying Elvis. Ever since I can remember, the Pats have been the icon for sustained success so I associate the logo with dominance and happiness.

I do love the Pat the Patriot logo and have several of the throwback red jerseys but the appeal is more "cute" than anything resembling intimidating/forceful. The Flying Elvis brings with it an intimidating and dominating type vibe.
Brady and Franchise most dominant game in team history:
Patriots 59, Titans 0

how many SB titles did we win with Pat Patriot?

Just curious
The true uniforms were used in games during 2 or 3 of the championship seasons. And obviously what they wear has nothing to do with whether they win or not, hence all this winning in the clown costumes they wear now.

Well, let me just say that when the NY people I work with see the Pats logo with all the SB wins they annoyed and get pissed off. When they see me in my old faded red T-shirt with Old Pat on it, they could give a ****.

How many Super Bowls has New England won proudly wearing the Flying Elvis? How many has it won wearing the constipated '60s cartoon character?

They have zero PROUDLY wearing the Flaming Elvis. Not proudly.

Sure they wore them proudly. What, you're saying they were ashamed? Numerous Patriots have said they like the current unis, including Brady.

************, you did this on purpose...I know you did...
