IF he can stay healthy, that's a big time improvement at the QB position for the Jests. That's a big if, though. My guess is he would be done for the year by Week 2 and we'll see Geno coming in and firing picks on a frozen rope.

Rumor has it Romo will agree not to go to Washington and other unspecified Cowboy rivals if he is released. This is of course, against the CBA.

Getting cut means it won't cost his new team draft picks. Romo really wanted to go to Denver since they have a SB chance - Jets are way down his preferences.

• Cleveland
• Bears
• 49ers
• Buffalo
• Texans (realistically as good as it gets, now that Broncos are passing)
• Jets
• Vikings

Agree with the author, Romo is going to have to settle for less money for no more than two years.
