As a rule of thumb, the human body should only consume and process 1500mg of sodium a day.

I'm sure he gets that from other sources during the day and doesn't see a need to add to it as he some some logic behind it.

Most of those rules of thumb go out the window for pro athletes (see: Michael Phelps' caloric intake).

I read somewhere he drinks this low sugar, low salt disgusting concoction loaded with all kinds of minerals and nutrients

Sugar and salt are both gross.

True but it's not universally proven that salt increases/decreases performance. You just need it.

Calories are a whole different ballgame

With the exception of Fox potato chips and ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery I agree completely

I can't do chips. No matter what "flavor" they are all I can taste is grease and salt. They make me sick. Doritos are okay once in a great while. And who doesn't like ice cream? Never been to Cold Stone. I like DQ. I have never liked salt. The older I get the less I can take sugar or grease. Especially grease.

Yuk. I bet it tastes like Moxie...the worst carbonated tasting beverage known to man.

I had a friend who put a bottle of that in his golf bag in the morning and then pulled it out during the round to take a swig. I was gagging just watching him guzzle it down.

I've had cough syrups that taste much better than Moxie.

People under 80 drink Moxie? You need a prescription for that ****, don't you?

My grandfather used to drink that ****. He was in his 90s when he died. They blamed it on the old age, but I'm pretty sure it was the Moxie.

Ha. I'm the opposite. I rarely do sweets. I'm a salty snack guy.

Fox Potato Chips are 100% natural. Only ones I eat.

I'm grew up in a small NH town. The local barber had all this Moxie memorabilia on his wall. He loved the stuff and drank it regularly. He'd pass out a can/bottle while you got your haircut.

God that **** was gross but drank it anyway as I was taught not to be rude.
