For a team that talked too much, coaches too stressed out and all the other ways people have ragged on Atlanta - that team very nearly beat the Patriots - a team BB called great champions. Alford nearly picked a ball on the last drive in regulation and Beasley came close to one in OT - and we might have a different result. That was a good football team the Patriots beat. Not as experienced or as deep, but still a very fine football team. Probably a better team than won the SB last year.

Yeah...it's crazy how close all seven Super Bowls were. The only one that didn't really hinge on one or two crazy plays was the Eagles game and even there, we might have been in trouble if McNabb had been in better shape (or whatever the F happened to him).

A few different bounces and we might be 0-7 (!) or 7-0 (!!). As it is, I'm pretty happy with 5-2!

Anyone notice the shot of Amendola, Chung, Edelman, etc and the chant "Playmakers". That was ALL-PRO Special Teamer Matt Slater.. Gave me chills.

Thanks for posting this guys, that was awesome!

You gotta love LG, I find it amazing ****sburgh couldn't work it out with him. I guess he doesn't like playing for morons (Tomlin).

The best part of this particular show was Matt ryan asking who the **** held on that drive thst cost them a field go opportunity and his center was like wasn't me

The guilty player could have been heard asking who the **** allowed himself to get sacked for a big loss.

4th quarter is football porn!! I'm obsessed with Papa Slater... I'm still on my SB high- Thanks for all the great posts everyone.

I thought they were by far the best PO team, they beat the crap out of 2 great QB's and coaches to get in the SB. Couldn't believe all the talk about us blowing them out.

I thought Dan looked panicked, overly anxious and found it humorous, never said they were a crappy team or were poorly coached. People are commenting on and making fun of some of the vids, If Atl won their fans would be doing the same thing
For me It's all in good fun!

The editing was great, the music inspiring but i think they went overboard with the screenplay.

I mean, a 39 year old QB making a comeback from 28-3 to win in overtime in the SB? To unequivocally become the greatest of all time? The biggest comeback ever has been 10 and the writers thought down 25 late in the third isn't too much?

And of course you have that bearded actor that was always like ''you gotta believe'' and then saying i told you so.

Plus that villain in the red jersey was really one-dimensional, more like a comic relief than a serious adversary.

A feel good film, no doubt, but i felt it was almost sci-fi in it's realism. Good performance by that 12 guy, could be a helluva actor with a more realistic script. Had that James Dean stoic thing going on.

Wow. I must have read this before my first cup of coffee or something. I totally missed it. Funny though.

Watching it now when they slo-mo it while Brady is shaking Goodell's hand it looks like Brady is not letting go and saying "Bullsh#t" lol

Sanu actually cracked me up a few times. First dishing on TB for running in slo-mo. Second, about Edelman's catch, "I told you he caught it, I was like oooooohhh". Talks probably a little too much for us pats fans but was all in good fun from what I heard. Also him trying to distract Ryan when they were about to run it on the goalline.

Wow I want Dont'a back. Damn did he come out fired up for the 2nd half. I think he absolutely did for the defenese what Tom and Jules do for the O. Played like a beast too. If he's looking for >= Collins money I dont know though .

Need waaaaay more footage of the celebration lol, that stuff never gets old.

I agree with all of this, Sanu made me laugh a few times.

And HELL yeah at Dont'a. Honestly his comments on Collins, him skipping the parade and now the white house made me wonder if his head is really where it should be at if we're going to pay him.

Seeing his intensity/passion in this game said it all and the SoundFX made even clearer.

It could be me, but I didn't find this SB's Mic'd Up as overwhelming as SB49. I found Brady's quotes to be better in that one (the pre-game speech - wow!) and there was more from BB. It could also be that just the way the game unfolded was so different, where it wasn't swinging back and forth so wildly, that SB49 lent itself to some amazing moments.

100% agree.

This was the most amazing game I've seen but the SoundFX here was kind of underwhelming, mostly because the NFL probably cuts off 90% of the good stuff. Seemed like the majority of this was "let's go!"'s by both teams.

That said, some great clips. Edelman at the end was easily the funniest (Yet that didn't even make it to the SoundFX NFL Network version, did Showtime have additional clips?)

There are SO many laugh out loud moments in this

SO many moments when it's almost spooky - even the Falcons trash talking among themselves up 25 - but then stopping themselves and saying "That's Tom Brady over there"

Brady's own offensive players talking about him knowing that if anyone can do it, he can... Edelman saying EARLY on at 21-3 "It's gonna be a helluva story" repeating that several times

Arthur Blank staring despondently on the sidelines at the start of overtime - clearly knowing that he was about to witness the full humiliating collapse of his team after dancing up a gloating storm in his box for the first 3 quarters

To the commentary on the sideline on "the catch" to the final push in overtime

I saw almost exactly what I expected to see and hear

Bravo

There's gonna be a movie about this one day - mark my words

anyone have the "inside the nfl" showtime one with the full hour of mic'd up and the analysts talking? It was posted here with a vimeo link a few days ago but then got taken down. I'd really appreciate if someone had another link

Watching this video you can fully understand the importance of Julian Edelman.
