Are you watching the game at a big party? Or just with a small group? Or alone?
Are you watching with other Pats fans, or will there be people rooting for the Falcons?
And what time does the drinking start? ;)

I considered watching alone at home, but will be going to a party to watch with my close group of friends. Unfortunately I will be the only Pats fan there, so this will be a regrettable decision if the game doesn’t go well.

I am having a small group over to my apartment. So far, the Pats are unbeaten when I have watched at home.

I have already dismissed all of my friends who are non-Pats fans, despite their best efforts to have me throw a big party.

My friends and I have our seats ready. For the post season we've sat in the same spots in my buddy's living room so we'll all be sitting there again. I'm in charge of the music. Instead of watching commercials (yes, even in the Super Bowl) we mute the TV and play music in a round robin fashion. We don't always pick the same songs but we have a few that we play when the Pats are in trouble (hopefully we won't have to use any of them this Sunday).

Should be fun. Lots of food, my friend's probably going to grill up some steaks.

I watched the Game That Must Not be Named on my own in the U.S., with a bottle of champagne on ice, waiting to be opened. I guess that the only good thing was that no one else could see me. I watched 2014 with my daughter in the U.K. and we went berserk together at 4 a.m. at a time when the rest of the city was dead silent. It'll be one or the other this week, depending on whether she wants to watch with her friends.

In any case, I'll be doing some serious cooking and drinking Jack's Abby.

I'll probably be watching alone, but the only two times I did that weren't exactly good outcomes....ehhhh. There's a dearth of Pats fans around here (mostly Redskins, Ravens and Steelers ), and I'm not feeling like going to a party with a bunch of people who are pulling for the Falcons against the Pats.

So yeah, alone unless the work call is late enough on Monday that I can sneak a trip up to CT to watch the game with family.

But I'll make some badass food, and I'll have fresh stocks of tequila, vodka, maybe beer...

I took the Monday off as I will be drinking some fine IPA and staying up all night if we win.

Just me and my family, pizza, wings and champagne.

Regarding the champagne, I don't really drink. But the christmas of 2007 my in-laws gave us a bottle of champagne for no particular reason. I figured I'd use it after the Super Bowl. Of course, I didn't. So it sat in the refrigerator and sat there and sat there. For 7 long years (does champagne go bad ?). Anyway, FINALLY two years ago I drank it. All of it. Last week I bought a new bottle. It's in the same place as the previous one. Hopefully it's stay isn't as long . . .

Either Driving to Houston Saturday, (still undecided) or having a party with some of my Pats fans friends. Either way no work for me Monday, I always take off it the Pats are in the game.

Superstitious side note: I quit watching the SB at home after 07 and 11. In 2014 I went to a Patriots bar, the celebration was so epic when Butler made that pick.

I had a friend who was at my house for the first three wins... but was not present at my house for the 2 Giant losses. So I told him he had to come to my house for 49 but he had a trip planned. I was like you have to cancel, but he could not.. So I risked it and it worked and the curse was broken.

Now I have no idea where he should be..

I have the same plan. Gonna stock up at the Trillium brewery in Canton on Saturday and will have plenty of food/drink to get me through the game. So far it's going to be just me, the wife and kids, but I'm guessing a couple neighbors might pop in.

Definitely taking Monday off

I hope at this point that I will be ready for Tuesday.

Pats 35 Falcons 24

It would be nice to have friends over and make a party of it. But it's the game for me, no distractions, no music, no needless talking so I will be watching alone. My "enjoyment" tend to upset those around me. My wife goes out or stays away and the dogs go into a different room instead of being with me.

We need a Super Bowl food and drink thread to itself -- I'm hungry already!

I did the same thing lol

We are all so superstitious, I guess all us true fans are.

I watched 2 games by myself (In NYC) because I figured the people that were with me in 2001, 2003 & 2004 weren't with me (I lived in SF from 1999-2006) when the Pats won it all. That didn't work out, so I watched the last one with a small group of my family. They won, so I will be doing the same thing. Will be making everybody sit in the same seat arrangement as well. I am the ONLY true Pat's fan in our group, My mom (Jet's fan) roots for the Pats because she knows it'll make me happy if they win. My nephew, he might be rooting for the Falcons, him and his dad are Dolphin's fans. My sister, she could care less, she hates sports, though she did find the Pats/Seahawks SB exciting.

I'm still deciding whether or not to go to the game (solo).

If I don't go then I'll watch with my old man and daughter and gal pal. Serious Pats fans only and zero blah blah blah. The world could be ending and the conversation will not shift from the game.

Watching it by myself. Never again will I watch with other people after going to a viewing party for SB46...
