Is there any way of knowing what kind of fan split there will be in houston? I tend to think atl is not known for traveling but if theres alot of non pats/atl fans that group will be rooting for atl.

80% of Superbowl attendance is comprised of free-loaders, marketers, sponsors, etc.

Bank of American alone, has 1500 tickets to the game, with 800 going to its clients, and 700 to its own employees.

Couldn't read the whole thread, a few points I'd like to point out, maybe someone already did it.

- Atlanta has been putting big numbers when playing home but they usually are not so good on the road in past years, but this year they have been good on the road too, and Houston is a dome and not a open stadium in the cold weather, so we have no advantage here.

- Defense wins championships, if it comes down to defense I think we have the edge.

- Matt Ryan is not very mobile and very rarely scramble. That's one less thing BB will have to worry and that's huge for us.

- Deer in the headlights, Ryan was a playoff choker meme victim until very recently, this year they beat a very poor Seattle team and did well against Green Bay garbage defense. New England is above those teams in both sides of the ball. How much this will play on the SB we don't know, but the Pats have players that already made to the big dance and won, and a good balance between veterans and young players. So that's a thing that will certainly play a factor, how much we don't know.

- Atlanta is due to a loss, they have been winning with ease, we struggled against Houston so this team is more battle tested in this playoffs.

- I think Gostkowski is due to miss a FG, he's been making the attempts but this season he was bad at times and even recently his kicks have been cardiac tests. I hope the offense leaves the field with 7 every time. We may have to go for it a few times.

- We can't turn the ball over, simply can't. Brady needs to cut those stupid picks he tends to throw when no one is open in the endzone.

after a bye week this season something always seem off with this pats team, I'm curious to see what they'll look like in 2 weeks.

Pats just shredded the #1 ranked defense and "the hottest defense over the last 8 weeks." Atlanta's defense won't be anywhere near as good, and they don't particularly match up well against our offense. Brady will rip that defense apart.

It will probably be a high scoring game, but with the way our defense has been playing, I feel confident that we can make enough stops to win that game.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Falcons defense dominated Seattle and GB.

Matt Ryan used to be prone to throw a pick or two. He has played within himself. Hope bill can confuse him with a defensive scheme. We gotta get pressure on him. Idk how much zone will work against him.

THis is not an away game. It's a game on a neutral field, not in Foxboro.

But Atlanta's defense has been playing much better.

He ran a pretty good TD there in the 1st half. Plus, he's a pocket QB. So is Brady. What's the great advantage?

Ryan performed at an MVP level in 2 playoff games. I think he's shed the "deer in the headlights and the "choker" labels. THinking he's going to suddenly lay an egg in the SB is not something I would count on. Just the opposite. I'd be more willling to say he's gonna put in another great performance.

- Atlanta is due to a loss, they have been winning with ease, we struggled against Houston so this team is more battle tested in this playoffs.

Due a loss? Not when you're on that kind of roll they have been. If anything they have huge momentum on their side. "Due a loss" means nothing in this kind of game.

I"m not Atlanta fan, but you guys seem to be underestimating just what a unbelievable offensive juggernaut they are, and you are underrating their defense. THis should be one helluva game.

True. In the case of the Packers, an incredibly beat up defense as well. But still, Atlanta just destroyed them.

NE destroyed a relatively healthy Steelers squad. Bell went out in the 1st quarter, but he was being contained - he only had 20 yards on 6 carries.

I don't know anything about ATL so I have no idea how we match up. They beat Seattle and Green Bay who were almost shells of themselves this year. I am not underestimating that offense though, but we have a much better defense than Seattle and GB.

After one day of giving the Pats props, Felger and Massarotti are in full on "THE PATS CAN LOSE THIS GAME! DON'T BE OVERCONFIDENT" mode

Tony is petrified because there's no way the Pats can cover all Atlanta's weapons....

Felger wants people to call in and pump Atlanta's tires...

Pats D really isn't that good, Atlanta played much better quarterbacks.....

Once again it seems they're basing most of their reasoning for the Pats losing on the schedule...as in, Pats have played crap offenses all season and they've had an easy schedule...

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Falcons defense dominated Seattle and GB.

Neither sea nor GB has an offense in the same class as the Pats.

They'll be playing golf in 2 weeks....

Don't listen to those trolls. If you stop listening to them, they'll have to stop trolling to get rating or might get fired outright. Demand better sports talk in Boston by voting with your feet (or in this case, ears). Don't listen to them!

someone on here, I think, posted that if Brady's not suspended this is likely a 15-1 team headed into a Super Bowl....
