For an encore, they can try to endear a vegan to...

maybe we could forgive Goodell?

the bible talks about this kind of stuff

anyway.....the best revenge is living good and prospering

which i think it is obvious that we are doing

The bible also cautions about bearing false witness, and an eye for an eye.

Jesus himself advised his disciples to sell their garments and buy a sword.

**** Goodell !!!

Maybe King can sell this too.
But, then again, the Pats would be that much closer to the beloved New York franchises, so of course he had to help out the Jets and the Giants.

I'll be willing..

I want all picks from SG and DFG (combo of NY, BAL & IND)

All fines reimbursed to Kraft/BB/Brady

Public apology to Brady for railroading him and repeated commercials explaining the continued smear campaign towards he and NE. Future 1st round pick for the 4 game suspension awarded

All NYJ/former NFL players purged from the front office, all punishments handled by an outside firm.

Goodell resigns

Revisionist history. The entire move thing was a power play by Kraft to get the state back to the negotiating table. It worked out great. Win-win for the team, fans and state.

When it comes to morality, we are all in over our heads. Even if I was not brought up believing there is dirt on everyone, life experiences would teach that. It's particularly hypocritical on Goodell's decade-long experiment on player discipline. What initially seemed like a high-road got derailed. Morality and the right thing was frequently overridden by profits, pleasing owners, catering to the prevailing public opinion.

It's really hard to not let the anger of a wrong get to you - that's Biblical. Hope this is not out of context, but Jesus said it's better to settle out of court, Goodell did everyone a great disservice by compelling this to go to court.

It's taking a long time, but I'd still like to believe things will be set right in the end. That a grudging respect will be held for the Patriots since 2001, and Goodell ruined the greatest league in the world.

Goodell is backed into a corner. Admission of being wrong at this point is an admission he's unfit for the job.

Even if this is true, what Roger has done is unforgivable.
Where to begin.

1. This only affirms why Kraft supported Goodell for Commissioner. Goodell did the job he was told to do by Tagliabue. The same Tagliabue who after a joke of an "investigation" declared the Patriots "damaged the league." Sound familiar? It should, because that's exactly what Roger did in '07. And again in '15. Kraft thinks these jerks along with Orthwein are nice people who give more than a crap about the Patriots. Their entire intent was for the team to be moved to St. Louis; and then later to attempt to retain the league's share in the Bo$ton market. Kraft caving to everything from keeping the insulting flying elvis to apologizing for CameraLocationGate cemented the league's absolute assurance that the Patriots are in fact THEIRS to do with whatever they want, whenever they want, including but not limited to drumming up MORE phony violations and scandals when Brady took over at QB and the team correspondingly started to win, and win big.

2. Hartford is pleasant place, and a shorter drive than to Maine for example, and I've driven back and forth to there for lots of my kids activities and college visits. But a larger segment of the population are in fact solid NY fans in all sports. They should give that section of the state to NY; they cannot call themselves New Englanders. The Governor did not change his mind when the deal fell through; he in fact simply showed his true colors.

Which brings to mind: Is it hard to blame Robert Kraft? Who, besides his son, was on his side through all this? Exactly who was discouraging him from clinging to the league for support? Practically nobody in Massachusetts public office. So, it's not hard to understand him feeling alone. Except for...us. Patriots fans. We bought tickets. We didn't go anywhere. A lot of us have tried to lump him into the pile of ignorant, selfish owners but it doesn't quite fit. He just hasn't put two and two together - yet.

3. Peter King or whoever tries to make the leap that Goodell "helped" us etc. continue to prove that thought often seems to be prohibited from public media. Goodell had as much to do with the building of CMGI Field as Drew Bledsoe.

What a great story, even if it does reflect well on Goodell, whose main interest was probably to keep the Boston media market in the NFL and not dilute the Jets fan base.

The idea of Jack Connors, Paul Kirk, Tom Birmingham and Father Monan in the same room brings a tear to my eye.

My favorite part is the "accidental" meeting between Senate President Birmingham and Jonathan Kraft in a "Chestnut Hill Coffee Shop" because Connecticut could sue if there were any formal negotiations between the Krafts and the Commonwealth.

"Accidental" my @$$.

Peter King could tell me the sky was blue, and I would still kick him in the nuts. I'd also look up to check the color of the sky myself.

Actually, I think I'd kick King in the mouth. Good chance I'd be nailing Mara in the nuts with the same kick.

And F U for eternity, Goodell. There will be no rehab to your reputation.

I'd forgive Goodell the day that he publicly admits he railroaded Brady and also returns the 1st & 4th round pick he took from us

How do us atheists handle it though?
