A little bible talk never hurt anyone. The eye for an eye stuff is a frequent out of context quote in the bible. Its matthew 5:38-42. It goes on to say that this is wrong and if you get hit on one cheek you turn and let him hit the other. This must be r kraft's favorite verse. If brady ever forgives roger i will too. Since he is the one who bore the brunt of it. I think a mans reputation is more important than money and roger damaged bradys for no good reason. So for that reason.. if you want to poke one of rogers's eyes out.. its not the worse response.

Hey, as long as Goodell and the rest of his cronies are exposed to the point that their reputations forever are twenty-four pegs below Benedict Arnold in the public's mind and they all wither and rot for at least two decades before they pass away, and every single Patriots critic and hater is humiliated nationally to the point that everyone will know they had no credibility and the Patriots are completely exonerated and exhalted and Pat Patriot adorns our helmets permanently forever, then yeah, I guess I can let it go, man.

I think Roger had the illusion that he was above consequences and that fans would have short memories. Now he can't go out in public anywhere in NE. Can't attend a game at Gillette. Had to ask the police in Maine to watch his vacation home. Apparently doesn't even use that house because he's afraid to go out in public.

So now he wants to rehabilitate his image in NE and is using his and Mara's favorite propaganda marshall. He should cut his losses. Sell the house. Stay home on opening night if the Pats win the SB again and never travel up I-95 beyond Stamford again.

"Mr Integrity" never should have used situational ethics. It's well-known that public opinion, owner's desires, and profits are often considered ahead of the right thing. Consistently inconsistent. Situation by situation.

I've always thought DeflateGate was really SpyGate II. Everything on SpyGate should have been hashed out back in 2007. Prove/disprove spying on the Rams during SB XXXVI, etc. It was not and strongly suggests Goodell and the owners could not care less about integrity in practice.

If Goodell wants to double profits by 2027, integrity and game quality have to come before profit at all costs. TV ratings this season already suggest this hubris.
