This is why we think the media is stupid

Brady doesn't need to push Rodgers down to lift himself up. Brady's record speaks for itself.

Rodgers is an amazing QB and future first ballot HOFer. Not enough good things can be said about his ability to play the game. Clearly will be an all time great player.

They must be sending more weapons to ISIS, molesting kids in pizza parlours or trying to invade Russia or something... and need a distraction.

This is incredibly stupid. Tom does this after every game, when he's interviewed. It's not that hard to YouTube Brady's post-game interviews. No wonder they were able to frame Cosby and peddle it to the sheep.

It's not just a thought.

I've noticed 90% of articles that run with the premise "The internet is freaking out over _______!" appear to be BS.

It appears to be a new click bait formula for disparaging a group. You see it with politics a lot.

1 out of every 5 tweets are idiotic troll bait, that goes for every topic.

Along with "One weird trick..."

Just to clarify, so that folks who don't feel like actually reading the linked piece (which, tbh, is pretty skipable) get any wrong impressions:

Its point is how ridiculous it is that Tom can't even do something as innocuous as give a shout-out to his family in his post-game interview without people on Twitter making it out to be scandalous.

The article is poking fun at Twitter culture. It treats the idea that Brady expressing love for his family was a jab at Rodgers as laughable. It even references (with links) Brady's gushing about watching Rodgers play.

I can't believe someone got paid to write this, but even more shocking is that I actually read it.

There are 7 billion people on the planet, and with the abomination that the media has become, they find 4 or so tweets from the mouth breathing masses and use it to get clicks lol... what a business model lol

To be fair, the article wasn't actually agreeing with or suggesting Brady took a shot, it was more pointing out how crazy twitter is, and more so the lunatics that post on it

Its amazing how they keep trying to stir up s#$%, probably cause there is no deflate gate anymore
Give them time. They will re stir up deflategate. I hate the mother****ing media. They suck so bad.I would love the privilege of saying **** you to one of them and then punch them in the throat. I so haaaaaaaaaaaate them.

Most of those lunatics work for media outlets IMO.

I just heard Dan Lebatard complaining about Patriot fans. he said your organization was caught cheating, they were filming the other teams practices.

I thought this is exactly what espn ended up at like 1am apologizing for putting that wrong information out there? am I wrong on this?

lol. yeah, Brady has never before thanked his parents and family after big primetime games.

that's not the media...just dumbasses on twitter
I think that is a very common error we are seeing now

No you're not wrong. The Pats have been smeared by false reports and the damage has been done and almost irreversible at this point.
ESPN Again Treats False Rumor Patriots Filmed Rams’ Walkthrough As Fact

"Everyone on Twitter seems to think Brady's postgame interview was a way for him to throw a subtle jab at Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who's currently estranged from his family...."

No, it's the media. The writer who wrote that sentence above, starting with EVERYONE on twitter..." is employed by CBS - - - you know, the legacy home of Edward R. Murrow, Eric Sevareid and Walter Cronkite.
