We're on to Pittsburgh

Odds are 3 to 1 against it Sup .

While I see your logic I just don't see Roger coming to Foxboro quite yet. Roger's bad name hasn't been in the MSM for a while and I think he'd like to keep it that way. While it could drum up lots of free media, I think a super icy reception caught on TV is something Roger doesn't want.
So either he goes to ATL or his schedule will be suspiciously "too full to attend" (possibilities: he will be busy sharpening up on his 'physics' of air pressure acumen, he finally found a way to talk to his daughters about...Ray Rice, or the likeliest scenario that it conflicts with his prearranged series of visits to an orphanage, a house being built for a poor family and an animal shelter).
I think he actually has a trip to Hawaii planned to check on preparations for the Pro Bowl

Where are all mediots articles and doom and gloom posts about how if the Steelers played a better QB they would have lost?

Then it will almost certainly be Cletus and I'm not sure that we could do worse.

I remember when Vinochich was the ref for Pats/Ravens in 2014 when he threw a ton of ticky tack flags, specifically on Revis against Steve Smith.

Then came the Super Bowl and he and his crew were nearly perfect.

Point being, sometimes these guys have good days and some bad.

It's the AFCCG. If we get Blakeman, one would have to believe he's going to let both these play.

"Let's say very little moving forward!" *Goes on to make excuses 3 minutes after advancing to the AFCCG*

Tomlin is such a tool.

Stop LeVeon Bell + No TO's = BALLGAME!!!

I know it's Trollin' Volin but..

Gap discipline is going to be important against bell. We saw last night when kc had gap discipline they stopped bell as he tends to dance around and wait for a hole to open.

Id like to see what Kc did to limit the steelers to only fgs.

On offense the steelers arent a particularly good run defense. I would like to get blount going which really opens up the play action passing game

If the Pats can somehow win it will be a good warmup for The Packers who are a great offensive team and Meh defensively.

Actually, considering their speed on defense, this might be a game where Dion takes a lot of handoffs away from Blount.

if they have small speedy front 7....wouldn't we counter w/ power running?

They'll both get touches but Dion is better equipped to quickly hit open holes that could close up equally as quick and get to the second level. Blount is better equipped to move the ball against a bigger front. Think back to Denver when Dion had his fair share of handoffs and I think you could see something like that against Pittsburgh.

I'm very curious to see how ours defebnse will fare in this contest, simply because this will be the first time we go against a top 10 (maybe even top 15) QB

If they do well, as i hope they'll, then I'll be able to say that this is our best defense since the beginning of the last decade

Forget about season stats, maybe look at the last few games and the reason I say this is because both teams have changed dramatically at the end of the season. Both are better teams.

I dont have a hate for the Steelers that others have so this game is exciting to me....if our Pats play as they can I believe they will win this game, if they dont then so be it.

Have to control Bell though, that's the key to the Steelers offense, without him the pass game become very predictable and easier to defend. Dont let Ben scramble, dont let Harrison have some amazing genetically altered game. Watch out for Shazier and Dupree.

it is going to be interesting but I expect NE to come out and play a hell of a lot better than saturday night. Bennett has to help in this game, he really does or Floyd has to take that role, Pittsburg is going to double JEII, but now we have Danny back, plus Lewis out of the backfield, but get White in there more also, he has great hands. I like NE in this game for sure, they have very few vulnerabilities.

BTW when have we seen all four QB's in NFC and AFC title games was solid as this, what a Sunday of football we are going to have next weekend!
