Osweiler season passer rating: 72.2
Osweiler passer rating today: 43

Defense deserves major credit. Carried the team when Brady/OL had their worst game of the season.

I would find it hilarious if the defense can carry us all the way especially after the Denver defense carried Peyton to a title.

Butler/Ryan are shaping up to be the best CB duo we've had in a long time.

Brady had 2 picks.. (should have had 3) He still made some great throws though.. a strange game from Brady.
Lewis Fumble on the kick off. And..I think it was just 3 turn overs. Lewis fumbled on a run play at the end but we recovered.

Good to see BB is happy about the win and doesn't look miserable because of the style points. Keep things in perspective that it took an all around team effort to beat a great defense in the playoffs 34-16

It was all Eric Rowe's fault. The meltdown would not have started if he hadn't taken that stupid penalty to give Houston second life when they were about to go three and out for the second time to start the game. None of the rest of it would've happened if Houston wasn't gifted that momentum.

Hoping NFL won't have any of Morelli's crew for the rest of the post-season.

They truly sucked Texans ****.

That was a tough Texans defense and I am kind of happy the pats got that, will keep them honest going forward.

Possible INT's - hmmm - that happens all the time, balls get tipped or whatever and land "close" to someone, it happens...

The offense didnt look very sharpe to me, even some of those long passes were almost lucky over good...almost.

I never ***** about officiating but this time..dam

The Pats do need to get a little bit of urgency and play better, next week wont be a cake walk by any means....they were supposed to destroy the Texans and regardless of the score we all know it wasn't great. A team like the Steelers or Chiefs are better all around so the Pats gotta get rid of the mistakes. If they happen to meet the Falcons or Dallas or even Green Bay they will have their hands full for certain.

Will we face a tougher game in the trenches?

Texans dline is awesome and their OL is good and played well.

Bye Big Vince.

Agreed. I was thinking this was a good game to at least knock the rust off and get Danny back into the flow.

Yep, we will definitely be sharp next week since we played today and no bye week. I hope Hogan is good to go because he is so important to this team on the deep ball.

It was a different game from Brady. They forced him off his quick read High percentage game and he beat them with slow developing deep plays. Ultimately 26/38-286 or 18/38-287 are the same result with a different approach.

Yes, and he played as soft as he did before.

People here are really Jekyll and Hyde about Bennett. One day he is a must extension and then the other day he is a soft, impactless player.

This is definitely not shaping up to be a "defenses win championships" year for the league.

It is shaping up to be a "quarterbacks win championships year."
It could be, for the Pats. In fact if they win it all the defense won it tonight, by keeping them from losing when their QB wasn't playing well enough to win it on his own.

2 key plays that won't show up.. the Floyd target that was almost picked. And the drop from the Texans #2 receiver in the end zone. That would have at least made the game closer.
The Pats still would have won.

I'll add one more -- the Houston STer had his arms around Lewis on the kickoff return. If that guy makes a very makeable tackle we could easily be down at the half.

Good game for D... Brady kinda inderperformend..... Headed to the Tahiti for last call.... Hope they let us in.... GO PATS

i cant tell if you are serious
