I created this thread a couple of weeks ago during wildcard weekend.

I wanted to go back update the thread even further, to show how playoff games this year continue to be lopsided, in a way we haven't seen in decades

Just to recap: There have been 10 playoff games. Eight of them have been decided by double digits, and favorites won all eight of those games. There has been one true classic (the Green Bay Packers’ dramatic win in the divisional round over the Dallas Cowboys) and one close but forgettable game (the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round). Most of the games have been decided long before the fourth quarter starts.

The last time both conference championship games were decided by at least 19 points.....

All home teams won.

Last year all home teams lost.

Next week should hopefully be better, but Jordy Nelson's injury may mess up a good Packers-Cowboys matchup.

Our game shouldn't be much of a contest, though of course we will take interest in it.

Seattle - ATL should be good but ATL is not very reliable in January.

KC-Pitt to me is the most intriguing and should be a great matchup.

For me, the math was simple this weekend. There were three teams that I didn't want the Pats to have to face: PIT, NYG and GBP. By definition, one of them had to be eliminated. That leaves PIT and GBP.

KC got destroyed early by the squealers. I will be shocked if they get destroyed again.

Atlanta has to show it can win the big games. That defense has to make some play's for them.

Packers still got some weapons despite nelson.

I am not afraid of PIT. Pats need to slow that running game down.

Huh? Sounds like what people were posting before the Foxboro games against the Ravens in 2009/10 and the Jets in 2010/11.

We darn well better "take interest in it!"

I missed part of the Pitt game cause I was shoveling snow. .but didn't Brown take it to the house twice on little slant passes? And Bell shredded the Dolphins, but the Lolphins had one of the weakest run defenses in the league. Miami sucks.. this game didn't tell us anything. If Pitt goes to KC next week and beats them the AFCC will be our first real test. I see KC winning.

I hope goodell is happy about the crappy product he has put out there. all his quest for "parity" has really created is more bad teams.

The NFL playoffs are overrated. These games are mostly terrible.

That 09 team was so bad
Poor effort all around, Ray Lewis had that offense so figured out that if we weren't the Patriots we would have accused them of cheating.

The way the teams for next week match up, we could see 4 more blowouts.
