OT - George Michael of Wham died

Heart failure was the cause of death and his agent says he had not been ill. Not sure I'm buying that

We'll find out I'm sure.

Heart Failure could have had a massive drug addiction. I mean I am sure he did lots of blow in the 80's.

So did a lot of people...yours truly being one of them. I took a 5 year tour of death from 85-89. How I thought hiding in a room with other coke heads grinding our teeth and talking Ga-Ga til the birds chirped was fun can only be explained by one word

Addiction

But for the Grace of God go I

Anyone know where I can grab a 16 oz bag of Death Wish Coffee? My guy is out

Something seems fishy to the story is all I am sayin... its like the Family was expecting his death but no cause has been reported. He died peacefully? There have been lots of deaths of musicians that have been strange. Scott Weiland, the lead singer of Drowning Pool (let the bodies hit the floor).. I think Prince was opioid over use.

wow , this is terrible. What a horrible year it has been !
RIP George Michael and fly with the Angels.

It does seem odd that a 53 yr old man would "die peacefully" implying natural causes. Think the last time a 53 yr old man died peacefully of natural causes was back during the industrial revolution.

He went through some very tough times, personally and health-wise, and drugs were involved.

He's among the biggest stars ever in England. Billboard magazine ranks him the 40th most successful artist to ever live.

Funny you say that, I only found out cuz my english friend txted me he died. And yeah he's huge in the England, as big as David Hasselhoff is in Germany. Such a shame really, loved him in Wham! And he was great in that christmas charity band-aid song too. Not really a big fan of his solo stuff. Regardless, its a bit of a shocker that he died at his age.

Now if it came out Keith Richards died, I would not be surprised at all.

As big as Hasselhof? Really? Even after the cheeseburger?

Could be an un-diagnosed congenital conditon. Anyways RIP GM

Didn't grow up during that era but respect to wham and george michael. R.I.P Sir.

I'm a coffee-aholic and I've never heard of that?

If you know any coffee-aholics, chances are they're A.D.D.

Especially if they can go to bed right after a cup....not that I'd know

Amazon is where I get mine. A little pricey, but well worth the cost, IMHO.

I'm wondering when Sting is gonna take the long dirt nap...

When I think of Hell, I imagine a place where they make you listen to Sting's music 24 x 7.

I just don't see the talent.
Boring monotone music from a guy with a lousy voice (Sting).

RIP. Great talent, with a big impact from a bunch of different singles.

For me when reading the article, the first thing I thought of was self-assisted suicide as a result of not wanting to face a terminal med condition (cancer, aids, ??).

He had his demons for sure

Separate Sting from The Police.

Stings solo career was/is lackuster.

Huge news over here last night and this morning.

His voice was incredible and his charitable works were the real mark of the man.

Huge loss.

Your right. Michael was in a league of his own. And yes there were better musicians out there but his record sales, his impact around the world, his music videos (when MTV actually had music videos) speak for itself. He's in a league of his own
The Minor leagues.... but it was triple A
