Patriots Nemesis Elimination Day! (Week 16 Game thread for Ravens @ Pitt, Den @ KC)

I feel like the Ravens are the only ones who can stop us, or pose any sort of threat, in the AFC. They play in an unexplainable manner.

This is gonna be their "win it for Steve Smith" year, since the only time they can contend is when someone's about to retire.

He said he was retiring this year? I never heard that.

Stop...

That ain't the Ed Reed and Ray Lewis Ravens. Brady has shredded them the last two times he's played them.

And how has Brady done against the Steelers defense? (And actually elite Pittsburgh defense, not the crap they have on the field now)

And how have the Steelers done against the Patriots in general?

It's a no brainer. The Steelers have 0 shot against us in Foxboro, the Ravens are a very live underdog. QB who comes up in the big moment, great defense and despite him being an annoying baby, probably the second best coach in the NFL.

the problem with trying to figure out who you would like the pats to play between these teams is that the team that is currently winning appears to be the more dangerous team. ...and that changes with every score.

Surprise tomlin didn't go for it.

So you don't give the other team's much of a chance to beat the ravens?

Ravens are by far the more unpredictable and dangerous team. In contrast, Pittsburgh is a known commodity and the Pats will be ready for them.

i will be the biggest chiefs fan tonight!!!! if they win, adios broncos!!!

miami will rest their starters next week since they clinch, which means we'll have an easy victory in south beach.

Also if the Chiefs finish 2-0 and the Raiders lose next week, then the Pats are guaranteed to play either the Texans (#4) Raiders (#5) or Dolphins (#6) in the divisional round

And it'd most likely be the Texans or Raiders due to the Dolphins traveling to play the AFC North winner.

Oh no, like the Giants, the Ravens can basically be beat by anyone but they can also beat anyone.

Bottom line is, I find them to be the only team to have the potential to pick us off in Foxboro. I'd still pick the Pats of course but they'd be my least desired matchup.

I'd rather play Baltimore than Pittsburgh if it came down to it. I know it's weird, but I feel like we know what to expect from them and feel comfortable playing em.

Steelers defense just look's awful. Rats might get in.

That happens with every game with every team, especially on this board.

Tucker man....that kick was whipping in the wind and it still went in.

EDIT: Did they just say that Justin Tucker sings Opera in SEVEN different languages? That's random

Bend but don't break. Steelers offense has to do something.

Tucker is unbelievable

Tucker is something else, huh.

That ravens defense stepping up big time.
