Will Bob Kraft make a comment on Deflate Gate ll ?

Kraft has been the stooge of Rooney and Mara and their puppet Goodell since he failed to backup BB in 2007. Remember that Rooney and Mara told Goodell to destroy the tapes that would have shown other teams doing the same thing and Kraft folded for the good of the League LOL. In fact Kraft to the amusement of the big two joined in the protection of the puppet after the Rice incident. To draw a comparison, Kratt is a noisy neutered terrier trying to run with Rottweilers. At the owners meeting Kraft was reminded that he was just a little impotent dog and he had to give up his bone for the benefit of the big dogs who were hungry, Now I finally think that Kraft realizes his position in the pack and he is just going to sniff around rear ends and not bark when the big dogs are fighting.
And he was the stooge of Orthwein when after a couple of weeks here it was decided that since the Patriots had damaged the league so much, and the franchise was broken and ridiculed so much, that their fans of thirty-three years had to be slammed face down in the mud and have their necks broken, and those remaining could only watch a team dressed up like an ugly Arena league castoff.

Reminder: The Siberia era in Green Bay, in which the team nearly went under, lasted twelve years.

The post-Berry term in Foxborough lasted twenty-eight months.

No Deflategate 1 is NOT over.
Next spring, the Patriots lose yet another valuable draft pick. For what?
It's still ongoing.
This will never end. If we lose Bob, there's zero indication that Jonathan is aware or enlightened about what's been directed at the Patriots for the last fifty years or so, or that he will do anything about it.

When, in fact, lots can be done. Lots and lots, including intiating and increasing public awareness, standing up for the rights of the franchise, etc. If, in fact, owners can no longer sue like Davis did, using that stupid fact as an excuse to do nothing is like using the league's helmet rule as an excuse for not simply having two sets of helmets, rotating them daily from training camp, and then using both during the season.

What did Collins do when he went to the Browns, paint his helmet?

No, and if he does it will be something mamby pamby that will piss us off.
From the Patriots' own web site:

1993 seemed like the perfect time to change up the team's uniforms for the first time ever. Owner James Orthwein and his marketing team reportedly gave NFL Properties only a few months to develop the new logo and uniform color scheme. Harkening back precisely to the 1979 design that was booed out of the stadium, the designers quickly developed what we now refer to as the "Flying Elvis" just in time for the 1993 season. Orthwein also noted that the colonists' opponents wore red during the Revolution, ignoring the fact that the team's lifelong logo, Pat Patriot, is already dressed in historically accurate blue. The new uniforms, royal blue with red numbers outlined in white and silver pants and helmets, were also introduced. Silver, it was noted, was the hot color for sports uniforms at the time, and of course as we all know, 1993 is the absolute epicenter of cultural civilization in the last three thousand years. Orthwein even got future successor Robert Kraft to participate in the process, also requesting the league hand out muskets to the players on game days. But, of course, Orthwein's own precious Budweiser label, and all the other long time franchises in the NFL, including those with far more miserable on field records over decades and uglier, more crumbling stadiums, had no such need for an image makeover. Because they weren't the Patriots.

Yup.
A lie told often enough is believed and unfortunately the league narrative is the one that is accepted by a majority nationwide. Kraft has two choices, accept it to sit at the big boy table albeit neutered or go Al Davis on the league creating sh*tstorm after sh*tstorm. While we fans would like the second approach, he opted for the first. Here's the problem with passive approach ( the " I demand an apology" was half hearted)
There is an adage in business, " don't damage the brand" by allowing the false narrative of Patriots as "cheaters" it damaged the brand and value of the franchise.... While it can't undo the damage of lost draft pick and fine and suspension, perhaps there is a third approach.. ***** about every other team doing illicit things from walked talkies on the Giants sideline to under inflated balls. Demand investigations for the "integrity of the league". Make everybody else very uncomfortable, so
Much so that that the league won't frame the Patriots again..
By taking the passive approach, it is like dealing with a bully.. Until you stand up, you are going to get beat up... again and again....Guess what, Goodell is not done going after the Patriots, he will do it again. Why shouldn't he! Other than we fans and a few voices in media, it is a great distraction from lower ratings....
Rant over
Good ideas...but suggesting that Kraft & Co. simply start behaving like Harbaugh and Polian? It just doesn't seem like their way. The Bully analogy is perfect. And Kraft enabled it to the max by kneeling and putting his head down on the chopping block.

The problem is, since Kraft became involved in '93, this is the only way he's ever approached it. If he could just engender a fraction of the aggressive, ugly, abusive, malicious behavior of CMGI/Gillette's original security force in their treatment of longtime fans, and direct it at the league, that'd be significant initial progress right there.

How about restoring the Patriots' real logo and uniforms to the players in 2017, and distributing a memo to the other 31 saying, "The Patriots are no longer the NFL's puppet to kick around every second, or ever anymore."

And in public interviews, instead of blabbing on endlessly about what "we think" and "try to do", just stick to short, curt, preferably one-word answers that make it clear that the league is one entity and your team is entirely another. They should take a look at Bill Russell's interviews right after he was named the first African-American head coach in North American professional sports history (excluding Negro leagues, of course).

Look, I know some/many people are mad at Bob for what transpired regarding the sham known as deflategate. Some of it, IMHO, is definitely justified. However, the reality is nothing good can come of the Patriots commenting or involving themselves publicly within "Deflategate II". I believe even GOAT was offered up a chance to comment on it and he smartly deferred.
Dishonest Goodell has a large majority of insulated, entitled, envious owners behind him. That means it is all but game, set, match in terms of being able to give Snake in the Grass Goodell his just desserts via public comments to a collectively dumb and unserious media. But there is one terse comment on Deflategate that Patriot fans can make in place of Bob and GOAT and BB that is meaningful: Patriots win the SB, it gets Goodell up on the big stage, and hopefully the remaining stadium crowd is rabid Patriot fans that boo/jeer him with enough volume that every word that comes out of his yap will be heard to the TV audience. Even the trophy ceremony is on a massive number of TVs. Having him booed under that kind of giant microscope is the closest thing we'll get to seeing Dishonest Goodell get a bit of his well deserved comeuppance.
It will not be easy, but we will have to get as many of us as we can down there to Houston. And, try and have something left in our voices to boo like hell when RG shows up for the presentation.

for the good of the league he probably has kept most of his opinions to himself. They don't want to tarnish the NFL's image because ultimately he is hurting himself.. even though the league ****ed him and his organization.
THAT is the mantra of last forty years. Protect Ben Dreith, John Madden, the crybaby Raiders, The Boston Globe, People Magazine, NOW, the "shield" all at the Patriots' expense.

Dump unwarranted sh*t on the Patriots, make them look bad for the good of the league

Good point, I forgot we get hit in this year's draft again however I stand by my point neither Kraft nor Brady or anyone from the Pats are going to say anything about #2. Bad for the Pats.

"learn", "change" or "change of approach" is not in their vocabulary over there

By saying, "Oh, we feel so fortunate to have Tom and the dynasty that we're afraid to do anything that will mess it up", they have.

Longer wishes to serve on the tv committee and the next time there is a deadlock in CBA negotiations, don't come back this time..... So what if the next tv contract comes back with less money... ( which it will anyway) let the other owners know there is a price to be paid for picking on New England....

Dear Friend, in this holiday season, I have a recommendation for you:

Bob got neutered by the other 31. He's not going to speak up and incur their wrath again. The myth about one of the leagues most powerful owners has been debunked.

This league is broken.

Let's be honest....these days, Krafty is more worried about his Gillette Stadium cameos than silly deflation/draft picks/fines/ suspensions. Image is everything and TV spectators no longer see the image of Bob and Krafty Jr. sitting in their booster seats above their guests. My guess, the entire row has been elevated so Bob wouldn't appear so diminutive in stature.....to his fans....but not to Roger and his supportive power base than stuck it fresh up Krafty's tuckus the past few years.

Or, in an alternate universe, secretly helping players get decent representation for the first time, and demand Goodell's immediate termination, almost total reduction in successor's authority, CBA comparable to NBA & MLB plus hefty pensions for retirees and insurance protections for players and reinstating NFL Europe and demanding fair treatment and compensation for officials...that'll cut at least 1/3-1/2 of league revenues, but the league will at least be run in a humane way, with some semblance of (gasp!) integrity.

It's like what happened after WWII, when former members of FDR's administration were dispatched to Germany, Italy and Japan to implement decent, fair, humane new governments...only problem, nobody was sent right here to the U.S. to do the same

BTW- has anyone mentioned Florio's idea of having the Pats grab a Denver ball after a pick or fumble and because it's cold, it will be "deflated" and THEN make a formal protest to the league (the one the Giants didn't), and that way FORCE the league to acknowledged that it was the cold that deflates balls in cold weather and NOT some conspiracy of players. Easy peasy.

I'd love them to do this because it would provide a cathartic ending for Pats fans of this entire affair, justifying having to spend 2 years defending its team's honor and integrity. Not to mention exposing Goodell and his cohorts for the corrupt band of morons that they are.
