It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Evidently Mr Belichick disagrees with you.Yeah, thinking bringing in drunk who likes to sleep at stop lights at 2 in the morning and thinking it would be a bad message to send and a distraction right now is talking out of my ass. Gotcha
Whalen IMO was brought in for multiple reasons. IMO he was brought in for his ST ability and as an emergency fill in should something happen to Edelman now that DA is down. I actually respect the Cards for doing what they did.
Evidently.Evidently Mr Belichick disagrees with you.
Great point. I think I'm just a bit skeptical to believe that he's going to do much of anything this season, that's all. Those ten are already playing for next year. Why give reps to a guy who will be a fa? Nothing to gain for those teams. Plenty to gain for a contender at least potentially.
Amendola was getting 10-15 reps a game in 4wide packages so there is no reason Floyd can't be prepared just for that package.Great point. I think I'm just a bit skeptical to believe that he's going to do much of anything this season, that's all.
With 5 weeks or so until the divisional round playoff game, perhaps he works hard and progressively gets more reps by then?
Well there's your first mistake.Oh and I just tuned into that afternoon 98.5

Apparently, there is a large segment of 'sports fans' who hate the Pats/Belichick beyond all reason. I think they're all related to either Ron Borges or Kevin Mannix.Oh I know. Just cruised by and yep...I don't know how they stay on the air. After all this time are there really that many people who listen to them? I find this confusing.
We'll see. You're probably feeling a bit more optimistic about it than I am, but I'd agree with him being able to be used as a red zone target by the time the postseason rolls around. That could be HUGE for the offense and I suppose that could total 10-15 reps, but I'm not expecting him to contribute in the 3rd down packages the way that Amendola does.Amendola was getting 10-15 reps a game in 4wide packages so there is no reason Floyd can't be prepared just for that package.
Supposedly, Amendola is done for the regular season. We'll see. I was also assuming that Floyd will be inactive for at least this week (certainly) and even next (quite possible), so I'm not really looking at it as a replacement type of situation. We all hope that Amendola is back to knock some rust off in a meaningless week 17 game, and if not, certainly by the playoffs.
A report came out during last week's game that said it may be reasonable for him to return for awhile in week 17, in order to knock some rust off.Supposedly, Amendola is done for the regular season.

I don't believe that he'll play until the game after that, but either way--what's the difference if Floyd probably won't even be active until then?
