Before this move our WR's were good, but ice thin in depth. We couldn't afford to lose anyone else. Floyd changes that. Big, big depth boost.

Comp picks won't be happening per the previous discussions months ago about how much cap room will be there (so likely high # of inbound FAs) and the low # of guys other teams will likely sign from Pats (especially after BB offloaded Jones /Collins; even with Floyd that is -2 +1= -1).

Michael Floyd is a Young man that put himself and, perhaps more importanly, other in danger.

When the Cowboy to this kind of stuff, they are called on that. The same should happen here.

I hope he is looking into changing his behavior, everyone deserves another chance, I'm just thinking it shouldnt happen so soon after the marquee fact (less than 2 weeks)

Wasn't Floyd just passed out in the drivers seat? I don't think he even drove. Could be wrong, but that's just what I got from it.

he may not last the season . they will probably evaluate and see how he fits the team and if he can get this offense and more importantly earn brady's trust this quickly. he has a big challenge ahead.

Previous DUI was in College. This is his first NFL offense and will need to be litigated before punishment by NFL applies. Although, he probably goes into the 'system' for being checked.

Obviously I don't want to be a hypnocrit and if this guy pulled anything like Ray Rice or Greg Hardy I would be up in arms against it. However DUI while stupid doesn't mean you are a bad person but you are doing a horribly stupid thing and if someone gets hurt it is on you. I don't think we need him to win and he should know that and the fact everyone else passed on him should be a wake up call.

That's true. Countless WR's have come and gone here the same way. The talent is undeniable, though. It's nice to have an option like him that gives you hope in that kind of situation.
