I say BB will find a way to let Vinny extend his record for consecutive seasons with a touchdown pass.

Testaverde re-signs
The Patriots made it official, re-signing Vinny Testaverde. The 43-year-old quarterback, who is embarking on a 21st NFL season, participated in the Patriots' offseason workout program and still had a locker even though he was an unrestricted free agent. The Patriots signed Testaverde last Nov. 14. He appeared in three games, including the regular-season finale against the Tennessee Titans, when he extended his NFL record streak of consecutive seasons with a touchdown pass to 20.

they will probably try to get it for him if they have a comfortable lead in a game and are near the endzone.

The answer to that is the same answer to Does BB wear a greay hoodie with cut off sleeves?

What a dumb question

It's probably the reason BB signed him. It's boring to just win games ya know. Trying to set meaningless, goofy records puts a fun little "new" element for him. My guess, is he prefer to get the get this one out of the way early, like against the JEST perhaps :rocker:

They should set Vegas odds on this. Last year it didn't happen 'til the last game of the season. You never know if the opportunity will present itself, and if/when it does, you can be sure the other team will play pass all the way.

Brady is going to be out 1 game with sore ribs. Vinnie willk take his place and throw 4 TD's. It could happen.

Vinny will throw a TD pass to none other than Troy Brown.

Putting odds on something that is mostly at the discretion of a single person is a bad idea for the sport involved.

... and if/when it does, you can be sure the other team will play pass all the way.

Exactly why the Pats could score a fairly easy "running play" TD or 2 in that situation.
