If you saw the ESPN piece on Logan Schoenhardt, here's how you can help

It was really dusty in my place when I watched this on Monday, it was the darndest thing.

Yep. Major allergy attack watching this. Cats must have snuck into my home office .

I'm not a religious fellow but if there is a God, I sure hope hes giving this family and this bad-ass, tough-as-nails little boy the strength to get though this.

Wow... thanks so much for posting... God bless him and his family, and God bless TB for checking off the top of the list....

...now, someone please explain to me what is this salty discharge coming from my eyes?

I felt nothing.

Jk Jk, this one definitely gave me the feelsies

Incredible young boy. He may look up to Tom, but anyone and everyone can look up to Logan. When asked what his message to his mom was and he responded, "I'm sorry"...direct hit to the feels.

I posted a thread on this yesterday but it got buried...glad someone thought to do it again because this story is worth it.

Now I REALLY need the Pats to win #5. For Logan. It's the only other thing I think will make him happy. Do it, Pats.

ugh, that part in particular was a hit to the gut. Not very often, considering the literal psychology of how a human develops, do you see a kid his age, when asked such a question, show a profound guilt for the ones he's leaving because it's too early.

I hope this buddy gets everything he wants and fights past it all.

Thoughts:

I watched the piece and, with young children of my own, I was sobbing at the end.

I thought that Tom Brady's "people" handled the ESPN part of the piece perfectly. There were videos of Logan on his way to meet TB and on the sidelines, but only still photographs of Brady with Logan.

After seeing Logan on the sideline before the game, I thought: "The Pats HAVE to win this game."

I clicked on the link and I'm going to make a contribution to St. Jude's Children's Hospital to honor Logan and help the many kids who don't have access to a major star like TB.

Whew .. that was emotional. What an awesome little guy, so strong. He's been through more in 10 years then most people have in a lifetime. I'm so glad he got to meet Tom. Prayers for him and his family.

Cancer sucks. I am glad that the patriots bring him such joy. It did the same thing for my family when my dad was disagnosed with lung cancer. 2014 Super Bowl holds a special place in my heart since it was the last pats game we watched as a family. Let's win #5 for Logan!
