On to Denver

If Von Miller is in Bradys' grill again like in the AFCCG, then the Pats will definitely lose.
Different now that we can, and will, run.

Anyone know Brandon Marshall's status ? He's been out with a hamstring, I couldn't find a status on him for this week.

The Pats OL and the Broncos DL are lightyears different from the AFCCG. That will hopefully be the story of the game.

Thuney, Andrews, and Mason are upgrades across the board from last year. Meanwhile, the Broncos are missing Jackson and Walker.

BLOUNT FORCE TRAUMA baby

While DEN has a solid D, I think we can run the ball on them with good success.

Might be a steady diet of LG, Dion and White this game and maybe a little Develin to change it up.

I think the Pats will need to close the game out by the 4th quarter or they could become gassed out by then and Denver could pounce like they did last season in the November game. Also, they have to make sure that they eliminate any mistakes on special teams like Harper dropping the ball and allowing Denver back in it. Covering Sanders like a blanket will also be key to winning this game because he is the one player that always steps it up and makes big plays when he plays against us. The Broncos are going to be desperate so don't be surprised to see a few Pats players down injured because of the Broncos D playing dirty and going after players knee's.

If Von Miller is in Bradys' grill again like in the AFCCG, then the Pats will definitely lose. I don't think the Pats O-Line will be able to consistently block the Broncos D-Line on the road so this could be their downfall yet again at Mile High. Preparing for the Broncos at Mile High on a short week also does not help at all.

Having said all of that, I think the Broncos win to keep their season alive and the race for the AFC West interesting.

Have you seen Denver's remaining schedule? They host New England @Kansas City and close out the season vs Oakland! That's a brutal 3 game stretch

I can't say that I'm too worried about this. The AFCCG is still fresh in people's minds, but that performance by Miller was a direct result of the snap count being given away. In all previous matchups, he wasn't a huge factor. He's made a few plays against us, but he never singlehandedly wrecked a game. Our OL is much better than it was last year and so is the OL coaching. They won't allow that disaster to occur again.

They'll also have to worry about the run game, which they didn't even have to acknowledge last year, because it was nonexistent.

If we can't establish the run, and Von Miller/Shane Ray can ignore the play action to Blount, it will be a rough one..... I don't expect that to be the case.

Never easy to win on the road in a hostile environment against a great defense. Even harder to win on the road in Denver.

But this team is clicking right now and the Broncos have absolutely zero offense. If the defense that played last night shows up again in Colorado, this should be a win.

While I agree that Thuney, Andrews and Mason are upgrades from last year, I would respectfully argue that having Solder back at LT is at least an important, I think many did not appreciate what a big loss he was last year.

I'm a big believer that (apart from those on rookie contracts) you can tell much about how BB values a player by how much he pays him. Biggest cap hit on the Pats is Brady of course. Second biggest cap hit is Solder and it isn't close. Solder was a big, big loss last year.

If this team still had Gronk healthy, this would be a vicious ass whooping. Defensively, I expect more of the same: 3-4 man rushes, keep him in the pocket, and disguise at the LOS. Offensively, I expect Lewis' snaps to increase and for both he and White to be on the field together a lot. I think they'll look at the tape from the Atlanta game earlier in the season and try to isolate their backs on the backers and Bennett on Ward. Denver is desperate so they'll throw everything at the Pats but the kitchen sink but this is a very winnable game.

They are struggling against the run and our O line is doing much better. I think this could be a strong day for Blount but every Sunday seems to be now.

Run, be patient, take what is given and don't turn it over.

Their D is very good but their run D is meh. Their offense is bad all around and if you stop Sanders/Thomas you pretty much stop their O. They can't run and no one else is a good pass catching option.

Those 3 CBs and Ward are a b**** to throw at, especially straight up, so I expect to see a lot of play-action to help create separation for the WRs and Bennett. This means Blount needs to set up those plays. I also expect, as others mentioned already, that the Pats will look to exploit White/Lewis on the LBs in coverage a la Atlanta.

Hopefully the Pats don't tip their silent snap count like they did in January. Of course a running game will negate Miller teeing off like he did the last time they met.

Regards,
Chris

Marshall has a hammy lingering for some time now. They rushed him in a couple of weeks ago and he went out soon. Similar situation to McCoy. Would be wise to sit him out but the season is on the line. A game-time decision most likely with emphasis on playing if at all possible. There's another possible injury problem with Davis. They were happy with backup Zaire Anderson though ..

teams which play press man give pats trouble esp if they have very good secondary which broncos do. these are the type of games , gronk can be a big difference. pats need to run the ball right at miller and use both white and lewis extensively . i dont think there will big gains like last nite. WRs are not going to play a major role in this. Defensively, watch the bootleg and keep the pass rush up.

I would still say that the donkey's have a top 3 defense. Big test for our OL. They will be playing for their playoffs lives

I still wanna see our wrs make some plays on this tough secondary. Can't let them punch us in the mouth.

All 5 OL positions are better than the AFCCG. C LG LT are better players than we had. RG has vastly improved and RT is healthy

Brady tears apart man.

The RBs should have a big role in this game.

Blount running over people and Lewis/White running circles around their LBs in the passing game.
