Right at 3 to 1 ratio now for his career. Astonishing that he was roughly 2 to 1 after 6 years. Since 2007 his numbers are absurd and without equal. Insanely "machine-like" awesomeness from him last night (minus one awful and important pick) against the "best" D in the league.

Football is entirely a TEAM sport (as our special teams outing showed us last night) but Brady is the closest thing in the NFL to having like a Lebron or Larry or something in the NFL. Brady can change the game, change plays pre-snap, make receivers better, affect the game more than anyone else who has ever played football.

Scrub.

And no offense to the Hick from French Lick but TB is on another level.

Probably good if he was not miked up last night. Gosh, "mad" Brady is so much fun to watch.

"Brady destroyed his phone!!!..and that deflator guy!!!"

Never ever forget what this azzole Goodell has done to US...to ALL of us.
As annoying as that was (I know, annoying isn't the right word), Brady's laying to waste of the NFL so far is all that needs to be said about the stupid commissioner and the so called competitive advantage. All the scientists in the world can defend Brady but what he's doing on the field ends the stupidity for almost everyone.

And for those of us here who already loved him, I think the fiasco has made us appreciate him even more. It has for me, absolutely.

Tom Brady won the 2016 MVP tonight. With all due respect to other worthy candidates, the race is over.

He had several of those last-second-before-he-gets-hit throws to his 2nd or 3rd receiver last night. Beautiful to watch.

Incredible stat. The two interceptions this season were just uncharacteristic "dumb" throws, too, both of which could have been avoided. He could better than 3:1 by the end of the season. Amazing to consider!

Seeing how LB won 3 Championships and 3 MVPs and is a Top 5 GoAT your assertion is pretty lofty.

Bill Russell's level?

In BOS or all of sports?

I love how if you bring up Brady on Bing it lists 3 facts about him.
1). 2016 salary $764,705
2). 40 yard time 5.28 seconds
3). Net worth $180 million

None of those facts are the most significant about him - yet each in a way reflects his greatness.

He'd already be 3:1 if not for two bonehead INT's. It's incredible to think they could have gone all season without throwing a pick. You don't even do that in video games.

The scrub was a joking reference to TB. Can't compare Bird to Brady because Bird possibly wasn't even the best player of his generation. Most would say Magic, even though I wouldn't.

Russell is the closest. Again he had to deal with the a silly Wilt comparisons and still does. Jordan is another. Or Tiger in his prime.

What differentiates TB in my opinion is the sport itself and the almost 2 decades of elite play with no real end in sight.

I know. Its a fun discussion anyway.

As much as I worshiped the ground Larry Legend walked on when he played, not only is Tom in his company, hes ahead of him. Obviously tough to compare so all you can do is look at the accomplishments...and to be "ahead" of Larry that is saying something. No shame there.

Russell is in a whole different world. Separate case.

Anyway I put Larry ahead of Magic. Better shooter, rebounder and defender but Magic is in my Top 5 too w/ MJ, Russ and Jabbar.

...and those were Mark Sanchez caliber throws. Baffling how awful they were. Tom has a couple of those brain fart throws every year.

Whhaaaaaaat?

No Jerry West in your top 5?

Blasphemy.

Nah. I don't think hes better than the 5 I mentioned.

Wilt, Jerry, Big-O, LeBron and maybe either Moses or Karl Malone are in the 2nd 5.

Off topic but regarding Bill Russell . . . he was before my time but looking at his body of work, he should be considered the basketball GOAT and it's not even close. Dude has 11 rings!

152 interceptions??

So Brady has thrown more INTs than Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Todd Marinovich and Jay Fiedler...combined!?!?

Maybe it's time to put an end to The Brady Experiment.

Yep. Hes before my time too. I've watched old NBA games on nba.com and stuff my old man has said who has seen him play a bunch of times.

Its a effort in futility to compare Russ to Wilt, Jabbar, Walton, etc. All those players were better scorers, etc. Russ was very average offensively.

But....

Mentally, Russ operated on a totally different level. Kinda like Moneyball. Instead of thinking of himself scoring 2 points as helping the team, he saw the game as blocking a shot, rebounding or making a defensive stop a BETTER outcome for the team as the other team loses the ball and his team gets it which is essentially a 4 point play and not two.

He does get a lot of int.grounding calls, which is no big deal when you
get stats like his.
