Before the season I never though he would be any better than previous years. Great season and he seems to be living a nice moment. Hopefully he can add another SB ring to end this perfect season.

Saw the title and thought Dikembe was back

Blount has been great. I love how all the people who complained that he hesitated and danced when there was no blocking now all of a sudden loves that he does that when holes open up.

He might be having the best season of any RB here since Dillon in 04. I'd put his year ahead of Ridley's in 2012 since he's a bit more consistent, and lacks the fumbilitis.

There's definitely shades of 04 Dillon in Blount this year, helping us close games.

Had to look it up..... 2 fumbles in 230 carries. Elliott has 4 in 263 and Bell has 4 in 180. That stat alone will keep you on the field if you play RB for BB.

Ridley had a very good year in 2012 too.

If he keeps up with his game averages, he should pass him in atts, yds and TDs

Dillon was on another planet in 04.

His career YPC is 4.5. He's averaging 4.2 this year.

IIRC, LB has more negative yard carries this year than last year but it sure seems like it's the other way around.

Anyways he has really been fun to watch this year. Carrying multiple defensive players to a first down marker or into the endzone is just beastly stuff.

I have to give props to Large Blunt. I have never been a big fan, but he is having a great year and is doing a great job for the Pats. My only complaint (I know, I should not complain, but what is this board for) is that he still tends to run straight into the line for little or no gain in the first half of games, although he broke that in a big way against the Rams. He has always been good, and continues to be, in running over defenses who get tired in the 2nd half of games. Go Large Blunt!!

Very happy for him and hope he can keep it up. Seems like he has a great attitude too and the team respects him. As the OP mentioned, he does seem to be "living in the moment" which I think is cool and I envy as well.

I think it is due to Blount being leaner and faster and also better blocking by Develin/OL.
