Well, the Jets ALWAYS think they are one player from the Promise Land (remember the Ty Law signing? and more recently, "stealing" Revis back?). However, it is absolutely true that BB is a big meanie and hates them.

I (regretfully) read the piece and the thing is, Mehta never justifies his belief that is the core of the story i.e. that Belichick hates the Jets so much that he'd never trade JG to them. Thus it's at best an opinion piece, and at worse, a troll.

Inside the story there's a link to a 2nd story saying how Blowes is the reason why the Jets don't have a good QB. It seems like Mehta is flailing about in search of click bait. I guess that's what you have to do when you cover a team whose on-field play generates no interest whatsoever.
