Their are writers in the media who have never been around the game in anyway who get paid large amounts of money and try to tell people what they are watching. They do not know anymore than me or you or anyone else. Heres an example, They come up with this dumb stat called QBR. Just another dumb stat invented by people that never played or coached, but they come up with these things And act like they have all this knowledge when they do not. They try to manipulate the stats to tell you what you are seeing. I think its stuff like that, that athletes and coaches have a problem with.
QBR was in part created by Trent Dilfer, for what it's worth. It is a terrible stat that is a collaboration of a stat nerd and a former jock.
He looks like he has as much anticipation for that kick in the groin as the Patriot's DBs do for the ball in zone coverage. It didn't sink in at first but then I remembered.
Same guy that proclaimed the Patriots werent good anymore
I think they win either way, I thought Cavs would win game 5 and lose game 6 back home. It was pretty funny to see the stories about what the Cavs need to do in the offseason quickly evaporate. I'd have thought people would have had more respect for a guy as good as he is than to bury him even down 3-1.
Same guy who stood up, admitted he was wrong, and took the slings and arrows in a respectable manner.
Everyone gets things wrong. There's no call to be bagging on Dilfer after all this time.
Awesome, I hope every single player calls out media scumbags...media, all media, including sports, political, is the epitome of slime and scum
Good ole Troy. That guy just had a knack for making big plays - offense, special teams and DEFENSE! He's definitely one of the smartest football players I've ever seen. And sometimes I'm very happy that is the case....
yes, schefter has shown in the past he is simply a mouthpiece for agents and coachesWhere to start on this one? So Schefter is a "media scumbag" for reporting about the possible alternative game ending? Or everyone who is a journalist is "the epitome of slime and scum"? Really?
I thought your comments about the Patriots were the ravings of an unbalanced Chicken Little. I hadn't realized that this was you showing your rational side.
