Forget hits. It's about the pressure. We all know how good Brady is at eluding hits, getting the ball off, or throwing it away. I watched the game, he rarely had any time at all. The line was consistently getting pushed back and collapsing and forcing Brady to improvise. The lack of QB hits has more to do with Brady's movement and getting rid of the ball quick than the performance of the Oline.

Did pats say that ? was it announced by BB he is alright and nothing to worry about ?

there was a report that everything was fine like 10 minutes after he left the game. i was under the impression that gronk was removed as a precaution but it seems like it's serious...

where did you read the "serious" report ? and the orignal report was from PFT , not the pats

The only report I saw was that his injury wasn't believed to be serious. I never saw anything that said he was fine. Not serious and fine are two very different things when it comes to football.

Was nice to have some sure hands on punt returns, eh boys?

who do you think pft is getting there info from? someone in the pats organization..

It's SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, where did you read its "serious" ? Pats are leaking info to PFT that gronk will be not missing time next week ? Have you seen how they handle injury news for 16 years?

We are taking steps into the right direction. Even if it was far from perfect at the very least the team showed a ****ton of mental toughness today. Baby steps into the right direction for the D, finally getting some turnovers and more pressure.

With everything that was going on (Brady clearly injured, Gronk early out, Marty still affected by the ankle) it was good enough and at that point of the season that's all what is needed. Survive and move on.

It will be interesting to follow how BB will deal with Ghost. While I get that many are losing their patience with him, the reality is that it if you look around the league where is the guarantee that his replacement would be a significant improvement ? Also even if for the sake of argument we'd decide to move on his contract would be a hard pill to swallow.

Fortunately there is still time.. lets just enjoy a win against the Jets..

I don't agree the pressure was good today but I believe Jets were top 10 in sacks allowed. Not sure about pressures.

I thought DT push was good at times but our DEs were miserable except for a few spots. Obviously the Long play goes a long way to recover that. Fitz escaped to his right a few times because we got too far inside

Run defense was pretty solid especially on the edge. Interior was not as good and Jets were turning and holding our DTs pretty consistently and I thought Branch lost lane integrity twice I remember.

I RARELY ever use the disagree icon but I did on THIS post. YOU can babysit the4se goddamned chicken little doom and gloomers if you want, doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion of their goddamned surrender monkey non-stop blabberations every single goddamned game the Patriots play. These idiots are the same morons that cry for goddamned cupcakes in their friggin' safe spaces because mommy made them clean their ****in' room when they were teens. Football is a WAR GAME! It is NOT a goddamned spoiled brat jerkoff fest of whining , crying, complaining and jackazz braying.

Now THAT is a high quality rant.

by all rights the Browns should cut him for dogging it. That's bad for total team chemistry...obviously

A reporter tweeted that Gronk was in sweats and walking very carefully and slowly out of the locker room

You're responding to an idiot. Save your time and energy.

We were playing the 3-7 Jets and barely won. I made 1 negative comment, and that was either way it wasnt a good game from us even if we win.

To be clear, we were playing our AFC rival Jets in NY. Even if the Jets were winless, anyone surprised they might give us a game just hasn't been paying attention to the last 3 or 4 years.

Yes, Rodney called him out and he looked putrid. He has completely given up on the Browns. I doubt he will be getting that big contract everyone thought he would get. Starting to think he blew his future.

I think Collins likes playing football but doesn't love it. He worked hard enough to earn a spot in the NFL but lacks the commitment it takes to be an elite player. I hope I am wrong because he has the talent to be a perennial all pro player.

Post game thoughts:
no turnovers
limited penalties
forced TOs & blocked FG were huge
sore knee and no Gronk (get well, big guy!), but Tom made it happen x200
