Hope they make the movie so other fans can have something to look at. Problem if its made too pro patriots and alot of BB / patriots flag waving. Then I fear other fans will see it as propaganda and tune out. Think this should be produced as a teaching tool and unbias documentary to have and effect.
most severe sanctions in NFL history ?
Not sure if losing QB for 4 games, $1,000,000 fine, and 1st/4th draft pick is worst than.... errr
Firing your defensive quardinator , suspening Head coach 16 games, GM for 8 games, Assistant Head coach 6 games, $500,000 fine, loosing 2nd rnd draft 2 years (first-round pick in 2012 had already been traded to the
New England Patriots, and therefore could not be taken away) or im sure he would have taken that also, Best LB vilma 16 games, best DT Hardgrove 8 games, best DE smith 4 games, LB Fujita 3 games. With zero contact rule in place so no one even Brees was not allowed to talk to any of them.
LOL effectively destroying a pretty good team for 2 years, and elevating dead money because guys had to be brought in to fill spots from free agency, and our GM having to drop good players on offense/defense to free up cash. Not that Loomis didnt screw it up, he did. But never should have been put in that position.
Not trying for a tit for tat here, both ball clubs were clearly fined to make them lose games. And the Pats have had way more unfair rulings than most. Its seems to be a vendetta at this point. What happened to the Patriots and Tom was I believe illegal, ridiculous, and a complete lie.
I love the idea of a film to get the true story out, and show other fans how ludicrous Godell has acted.
It needs to be told. Though I would love to see a film on all of the NE Gates called like "Belicheats" or something to lure in other fans and show them how the Patriots have been unjustly targeted over the years. Fans need to get the other side. I know most NFL fans still believe bountygate was true, and Im kind of proud of a NE fan making the effort. Something we might try. Its a great idea.
