I guess because he threw a punch the new rule didn't need to be invoked - that's always been grounds for an ejection, although it's been inconsistently enforced to say the least.

I love my team, but they're humans and can screw up. Jones is a screw up, and is wearing my second favorite Patriot's number. Not having it from him. He is not disciplined and we don't need that in New England.
