This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Joe and Evan are spot on, the Jets are a bad team. The people who were already not on board with Fitzy are now out like vultures. Fitzy's 10 picks through four games are more than Brady threw in the last two years. The Jets season is in the toilet.

The segment ends on a sad note for them, the two of them are pumped up for the Mets wildcard game. When will they ever learn? Same Old F***** Jets, Same Old F****** Mets.
Evan named his newborn son "Jet". Child protective services should intervene.

LOL, well we all know how this movie ends (Titanic).

I'll be honest, I don't find that funny. Loyalty and commitment should never be scoffed at, regardless of the source.

Definitely shouldn't be scoffed at, but doesn't mean ya can't have fun with it.

I disagree. Nobel qualities are far to scarce in our population today. Any means to diminish or berate such qualities should be discouraged in my book. That said, wisdom should be used in the determination of those of which to claim loyalty to. In this case, the alternatives are likely greater evils.

I think we can make a slight exception for the Jets though

But that goes against the very purpose of this thread. From my understanding, this thread was CREATED to diminish AND berate our enemies (the Jets) regardless of any circumstance. Especially when it comes to what may seem as a very strong action of allegiance to a QB who has not given any reason for such.

Aristotle teaches that qualities that would otherwise be virtues become vicious when employed for ends that are not virtuous. I'm sure that he had loyalty to the Jets in mind as a prime case.

There is enough to despise and berate about the Jets that we need not resort to crapping on when one actually expresses positive qualities. I completely agree though. It is a travesty when "virtues" are used to take advantage of others for selfish purposes.

Were his intentions or use despicable in any way, you might have a point. However, his judgement on where to place his trust can certainly be questioned.

In the context of this thread: WTF are you talking about?

And yet…I'm ducking as I type this…I'm rooting for the Jesters on Sunday.

Now this is promising. Is there a disturbance on the dark side?

As Rabbi Tunescribe explained, even though it may sometimes be that good ends are promoted by evil means, it is forbidden to the pious Patsfan to will those means. Now begone, thou unbeliever!
