Could Bennett trade be one of BB's best?

Martellus Bennett has two 100+ yard days in 4 games as a member of the Patriots.

He had two in the 8 years prior to joining the Patriots.

This guy has been a monster blocking and receiving for us. He's also embraced the Patriot Way and seems to love it here.

We may have gotten the 2nd best TE in the NFL and a 6th round pick for a 4th round pick. Considering he's only 29 and TEs can play into old age at a high level (Gonzalez/Gates), he could be a great Patriot for awhile (if resigned).

It's only been 4 games but the rest of the NFL messed up on this one. We got a leader and a stud on the field for the equivalent of a 5th round pick. This trade could be Moss level stupid.

Hard enough to stop 1 Gronk, if his route reads/runs come along we'll essentially have 2 gronk-like TEs that can do anything on the field. I feel giddy at the prospects.

This can't be. I was informed that someone saw Martellus take a play off in the preseason and BB was about to send him packing.

Seriously though he is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. He's been an absolute beast on the field, I would have loved for him to have been out there during that scuffle, and his interviews are classic... Whoa, feels like I'm talking about Gronk. Is there any way we can afford to keep the two best TEs in the league after this year?

Bennett has been great, everything I think we could have asked for, but for me, the greatest BB trade so far has to be: Clock Killin Corey Dillon for a second round pick.

I still remember the second I heard about BB trading for Dillon, I was watching the BSPN and I think it was Deion Sanders was on, and he was like? Marvin, what are you doing? They just won the Superbowl, the only thing they didn't have was a running back, and you just sent them the best one in the league.......

I think he has enjoyed his first four games here than his entire run in Chicago. Can't blame the guy - Winning feels good.
