Very very uncharacteristic showing today. Especially from the D. But we will be 3-1 when most predicted 2-2 at best, things could be worse. I just hope they get it together in the 2nd half and make it competitive. Because this feels a hell of a lot worse than 13-0 right now.

Jesus, 2nd and 20 and they pick it up, McCourty showing why he is the most over hyped over paid player in the league!
Any secondary would look like this with our pass rush

It's because they are playing to contain Taylor from running.

Well, it ain't working if his guys are open all day and he's got until Monday morning to pass.

Did the refs really take a 1st down away from Patriots because "they weren't ready"?? seriously I've never seen that before!!
They did not spot the ball properly, so yes they took away the first down.

BB's defense against mobile QBs is always tough to watch. he places priority on the QB not running. Unfortunately taylor is playing well from the pocket.

And remember that BUF gets the 2nd-half kickoff

Brissett has big balls. I think the thumb is a bit worse than we think.

Funny. First off, what I said I believe is highly true. Brissett has massive balls. The thumb IS worse than we think. And people agree, which they should.

What does that make Jimmy? Is his injury WORSE than we think? No. So if Brissett is pushing through it why isn't Jimmy?

It's because they are playing to contain Taylor from running.

I understand that. But there is containing and there is giving the QB time to make his taxesbefore throwing the ball.

all week was "Oh, every QB will be good to go". Now is "Well, they are all injuried..."
The coaching should face criticism for not signing anyone, if that is the case.

And if that isn't the case, they need to face that the game plan has been trash so far

The best explanation at this point is that the Pats just decided they're okay with dropping a home division game. It's either that or we're getting outplayed and outcoached in every facet of the game by Rex Ryan and the ****ing Buffalo Bills.

so getting ****ing screwed by the refs is just one of those games?

The refs made some mistakes, but it's not like the team is playing well. Stil far from over, of course.

Definitely the Bills day so far. Their offense looks crisp with McCoy running effectively.

It has been a combination of poor play and timely momentum changing bs calls by the refs, my buddy agreed that the holding call negating Edelman's td was weak, and the Blount run was no question a first dowm.
That's the scary thing about the refs' ability to influence a game. It's not the frequency of calls or just calling more on one team - it's all about the timing. A flag can be thrown on just about every play for one reason or another if a ref wants to call it.

Let's not be that fan base that blames the refs. The game plan and the game play has been an utter disaster.

That second half against Miami was no fluke. The division opponents know the weaknesses on defense and they have shown they can move the ball on this defense without resistance.

The amount of heart we had against Houston is simply absent.
