To say that he pinned them inside the twenty isn't even doing it justice! Their average starting position was the 10 yard line! Well deserved honor.

Tremendous day by Allen...

AND don't forget the rest of the squad...

My recollection was Houston only returned one punt... and the Pats forced a fumble on that one!

That group on the Patriots is SCARY good...

I hadn't registered the zero return yards! Really a perfect day of punting.

pff had Bryan Anger as their best punter of the week.

Because apparently 4 punts being returned for 12 yards is better than 7 punts being returned for 0 yards and with 6 inside the 20 and 5 of those inside inside the 12.

i don't usually make clips of punts unless there's a big return or a fumble, but here are all of allen's punts (thanks @FreeTedWilliams for typing the descriptions):

What else do you expect from PFF? The very least of its problems (and bogosity) is that Chris Collinsworth is a majority investor. And it goes from there.

Perfect!!

Our special teams play to start this season has been phenomenal. I forget more than I remember these days, but I can't remember noticing a unit play as well as these guys have to start a season.

Slater and Jones all day. Incredible.

This. And it is worth mentioning again.

Just watch the gifs bbobbo posted, the only time that both Slater and Jones didn't clearly both beat the coverage, was the one Jones downed. On that play, Slater was forced out, tried cutting back in abruptly between the coverage men chasing, and ended up tweaking his hammy a bit, iirc. The only thing deciding who got there first, was who's side Allen kicked too. On a few of those both of them were there quickly enough to have forces the fair catch had the other not been there as well. Amazing.

And this is why PFF sucks...
