WR Malcolm Mitchell

He's made a play in every game so far. Ya he's not putting up numbers yet but he's making plays.

Week 1- 30 yard reception to setup a TD
Week 2- 3rd down conversion, that ended up putting the Pats in FG range
Week 3- 25 yard 3rd down conversion
I don't want to get ahead of myself but watching Mitchell, to me, he sure looks like a young Antonio Brown out there. This kid looks to be the real deal.

Yes, I love this kids game he looks like he could be a spectacular pass catcher.

When he gets the ball in his hands...he always seems to make someone miss or get an extra 10+ after contact. Very excited about him (BTW i have gotten so many compliments on his jersey the last 2 home games...haven't seen 1 yet besides mine)

I like everything but his hands up to now, we'll see how that develops

This kid was a HS stud in Georgia - 6A player of the year in a big-time football state. Lost a bit at UGA and was hurt - but the top level talent is there. And a great attitude to boot.

I'm on the Mitchell train. He's making catches on the balls thrown at him. Looks to have strong hands and his long arms allows him to play big. I like how he came back quickly after getting hurt.

I'm totally digging Mitchell as a receiver.

Mitchell is a stud. Brady finally has a young athletic outside WR.

Makes sense, I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: he's the anti-Dobson. Everything from measurables to style of play to general strengths and weaknesses. They're polar opposites in almost every respect.
Watching the game I thought 'this is the guy that Dobson was supposed to be'.

Obviously it is way to early to make judgments, but the early results are very encouraging.

He's made some tough catches so far. Not sure I agree with that.

How did they get this guy in the 4th round? He's a stud already.

His ability to make people miss reminds of he who shall not be named. He cuts and jukes like him, very effectively. Very rare to have that type of breaking tackles start stop cut ability type skill set. Mitchell and you know who are the only two who had that on the patriots.

A VERY apt analogy. I'll add to that.. Seeing good player is kinda like that quote on porn vs art... You can't explain it, you just know it when you see it.

And just like that, after 3 games we know Mitchell is a player. Why? Because, it should be fresh in all our minds what watching an anti-gamer, Dobson who I am now convinced, is a jag at best (in this system ) does looks like on the field.

So lets all remember this, as it's rare to have two players in succession to make a valid A to B comparison. Remember back and how Dobson fooled many of us, maybe we just were being hopeful, but doesn't matter. Look at how they performed on the field. Remember the difference we're seeing. It'll save a lot of wasted discussion later when it happens again with another player

I believe Dobson had a strong rookie season also. In my mind it comes down to how he progresses going forward.

Will he put in the time to learn the playbook and earn Brady's trust.

made some tough catches, and dropped some...with only 2-4 targets a game, having one drop is 25% hit

and i think he's had at least 1 drop every game

Hadn't realized Voldemort was a good football player. He any good at quarterback?
