Receiver Randy Moss has headed to the sidelines during today's practice, and had what appeared to be his left hamstring wrapped by the team's training staff.

Moss came off after running a long route down the middle of the field on an imcomplete pass from Tom Brady. He jogged off the field under his own power and has not returned to action, remaining on the sideline.

Brady came over to check on Moss and the two knocked fists after a short conversation. Moss was in the midst of another solid practice, making several nice catches.

Hamstrings are very touchy (need I remind anyone). Now our top 2 WRs and deep threats are both out. I predict he will miss several weeks. Hopefully back for Sept...a

This sucks, even if it is mild. Sounds from Andy Hart's blog (filling in for Casale) like Moss and Brady were really tearing it up today. I'd have to think he's out at least till the weekend as a precaution. Do any of the beat reporters even dare to ask BB what his status is at the presser tomorrow?
