“To be honest … there was … supposedly the balls went somewhere and they weren’t supposed to go there,” Palmer said. “There was humidity and not enough humidity and whatever it was and altitude. I don’t really know. I didn’t follow the story. As soon as it came on I just turned it off because I was so sick of hearing about it. Whatever the league comes down upon and whatever ruling they make is what they make. You don’t have much of a decision after that and you can fight it for a little bit but after a while, you just gotta abide by what they say.”
I wonder if this was his stance when USC got sanctions imposed because some of his teammates were paid. Things that make ya go...Hmm.
Or maybe he's mad the Cardinals GM named one of his 3 sons Brady.
Saw this on Twitter and thought it was a good point: "The same guys in the media who were telling Brady to do the right thing and drop the appeal now cannot get enough news of people getting their digs in."
He should be paying attention if he gives a **** about the Union at all.Palmer on Brady: When you get busted, you suffer the consequences
It's unbelievable how badly wadded Patriots fans get their panties over a statement like that. Yeah, he should have just avoided the question, but he clearly tried to play it down the middle. Did he show his real thinking in the earlier sentences, or the latter? We don't know, but that's not stopping people from being idiots over a single, not clarified, conversation. In the meantime, Roethlisberger backs Brady as the best, yet that single conversation doesn't seem to have the same effect in reverse.
So Mr. "After awhile you just have to abide by what they say" would just roll over and be disgraced? I think not. I truly believe he would fight, if it were his ass on the line.Palmer on Brady: When you get busted, you suffer the consequences
