Yesterday the NFL* put out Hashtags that reveal a team's logo when you type it. For you folks not on Twitter (read: old ) it gets the team "trending" everytime you use the Hashtag. But some of these are straight corny. The Patriots even had #DoYourJob last year and that's gone. Look at some of these.

Mike Hurley breaks them down in full here.

Others are utterly boring. You’ll be surprised by this, but the Patriots fall into that group.

Their hashtag is … #Patriots.

It’s almost as if the social media team asked Bill Belichick what the hashtag could be, and he just stared at them all in silence until they left his office.

Any suggestions on what hashtags some teams should be using?

I like Carolina's, #KeepPounding.

#TitanUp??? Are Titans fans really supposed to encourage their players to tighten up? That's like the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do...

And then #JetUp....why would you want to "up" or encourage anything the Jets do?

That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. NFLPA need to pounce on this.

#BeRedSeeRed?

Really? Is that a thing???

And as a form of protest, I think all Patriots fans should not use the NFL hashtag for the Patriots. Instead, let's use Deus's suggestion of #GFYRoger. Let's dedicate the season to that.

Every Patriots TD, #GFYRoger. Every big win, #GFYRoger. Every Patriots highlight should be tagged #GFYRoger. Let our entire season be one big **** YOU to the league.
