How many years until Goodell is gone?

I've said it a few times now. I don't believe that Goodell will be the Commissioner the year the NFL starts to negotiate the new CBA in 2020.

My fantasy. there will be a brutal lockout/strike and somebody will start a new league and start poaching NFL players. Fans want to follow football, not idiot commissioners who prevent the best player in the league from playing for nothing.

There is so much wrong with the NFL discipline wise, strategy wise and safety and legal wise [concussions, no attempt to improve the situation.]

Fans want football, not a monopoly of dunces.

I think his current contract ends March 2019.

I was always thinking it was until Joker stops fighting his overwhelming urge to do us all a favour.

Too embarrassing and expensive for the owners to fire this festering boil on the neck of the NFL.

Only hope is that Mrs. Goodell murders him in his sleep after catching him once again with his (unspecified appendage) stuck in the central vac system.

let me be as polite as I possibly can...this mother****er needs to take a swim in the nearest wood chipper up there in Horse Fly Isle ,Maine...

If the next NFL negotiations with the NFLPA are contentious and newsworthy, which they might be, his shelf life might be shorter.. do not see Article 46 surviving that process.

So if the CBA is done after 2020 and the biz deals expire at 2022, I would think it takes a year plus to negotiate these things so they kinda need to decide if they want to extend him next year OR pay him to go away and bring in a new commish that can negotiate these things.

Plus this guy needs time to get buddy buddy w/ the owners, networks, sponsors and maybe regain some trust and business relationship with the NFLPA so negotiations go a little smoother.

I think the trust and business relationship with the NFLPA is the key. During the last CBA, Goodell would get so mad at the NFLPA that he would get red in the face and storm out of the negotiations. It was Kraft and a few other owners that got the CBA through. Goodell was an embarassment as a negotiator. Having Goodell still around when the new CBA is due just increases the chance of a lockout.

Jonathan Kraft saying Goody is an expert in marketing and business is a complete joke.

Well Kraft made sure that he is one of the six votes needed to never extend him, after his current contract
He did? All indications are that he would vote to extend his contract, from what I can tell.

About 4 weeks if they aprove my Remington 700 rifle with lighten night finder scope and 1000 tunsin explosive rounds, because Im not a very good shot.

I don't think he'll last that long. I like to believe that things even out, and I think he's going to be doing the walk of shame sooner than later. I don't know what will get him, but something will.

Speaking of, we haven't seen him much ever since that Twitter hack. It's like when Steve Jobs disappeared when he had his health issues.

I'll bet it's the mini- vac.
