At this point Hightower Collins Freeney KGH are making it i think. If you count McCellin as a LB that is 5. Do we keep 6 though? IDK. I don't think so and no one jumps out as me as a must keep though some guys look promising.

Humber looked like a great tackler too in preseason game 1. Our LB depth will be better this year.

Maybe they designate Shea a DE, I'm thinking. How safe is Freeny? Is he a lock at this point?

Freeny is not a sure fire lock but likely. BB likes him. If they parted ways it wouldn't be a big time shock but surprising.

LMFAO, that's the guy who tore his ACL celebrating a sack of Garoppolo late in a blowout game

This is like reality tv at this point.

For a guy I thought could compete for CB2 this year Roberts looks cooked. The two practices I went too his coverage was spotty. LeBlanc looks above him on the hypothetical camp depth chart.

1. Butler
2. Ryan
3. Coleman
4. C. Jones
5. J. Jones
-------------
6. LeBlanc
------------
7. Biggers
8. Roberts
9. Bentley

He sure can hit/tackle though. I'd keep him on the PS as a safety project.

Mark Daniels ?@MarkDanielsPJ
Cre'Von LeVlanc just had a great deflection on a deep ball intended for Joshua Bellamy in the end zone

He's playing his way onto the Steelers, Seahawks, etc 53 man and not the Pats PS.

I don't want to say we need to carry LeBlanc but if he keeps coming on strong and looks like an NFL CB then we need to find a way. If we are sure he won't go to the PS have keep him on the 53. CBs are too important to let walk when you find them. Same for OTs.

It's hot, the boys are tired, the beer is getting warm., practice is too long. "You're talking 'bout practice, man!" No wonder things are a little feisty.

A reminder:

I still put Roberts ahead of Biggers and Bentley most likely. It seems LeBlanc has passed him though. Sad cause Roberts is a bigger CB. At this point I feel there is a difference between LeBlanc and everyone else. Also important to note Roberts as a 5th CB would work on some teams. The guys above him are over preforming as of now.
