Exactly! This is old news anyways. I've been a Sox fan my whole life and I could really care less. The only thing that matters is him wearing a silver helmet with an impression of Elvis painted on the side!

If Curt Shilling can go on ESPN and claim his love for the Steelers while wearing a Roethlisberger jersery a day before the AFC Championship game vs. the Steelers than Tom Brady can privately jog around any city he wants to wearing any hat he cares to (with maybe the exception of a white hood or a Bad Newz Kennels cap!)

I think he might be part of that weird new fad where nfl players actually come from college.

Because back then the Sox hadn't won a Series in 83 years, the Yankees were still our Daddy, and Red Sox Nation was feeling very insecure.

I used to be a die hard Sox fan but I let go years ago. I just could not take the suffering anymore so it does not personally bother me that he wears the hat. Yet, it does seem superficial. He has been at Fenway functions and he does know that some die hard Sox fans won't like it.

I just cannot imagine that Bobby Orr, Larry Bird, Kevin Mchale, Steve Grogan, John Hannah, Bob Cousey, or Terry O'reilly would wear a Yankees cap.

I think it's actually smart of him to wear a Yankees hat when he is in NY. Think about it for a second. Can you imagine if Manning lived in Boston and wore a Colts or NY hat? It would make him such a target that he wouldn't be able to live his life the way that he wanted to and I think that is a travesty.

The only attire Brady wears that I will ever care about is his football attire. Sox fans need to get over this. It makes them seem incredibly insecure and pathetic.
