Re: Glenn Retiring

If true, bad news for the Colts, which makes it great news for the rest of the league. Thanks for the link.

Re: Glenn Retiring

I think I just heard Mannings happy feet get alittle louder with A.Thomas going up against there new rookie tackle

Re: Glenn Retiring

Made my day :)

Everytime they get weaker without anyone getting hurt, it's a good deal for all of us ;)

Re: Glenn Retiring

If it happens its great news for us. :rocker:

Re: Glenn Retiring

Wow. Makes the Ugoh pick look good now.

True, just better be ready to step in and play the toughest position on the OL.

Re: Glenn Retiring

Great news indeed...but when I saw the thread title, I thought SHE was retiring..

Re: Glenn Retiring

I hate the Colts.
Not enough bad things can happen to them.
I resent the way they kicked our arses in the second half last year...even though it was our fault!

Re: Glenn Retiring

Peyton is in for a long season....heavy lies the crown Jughead :)

Re: Glenn Retiring

Even though Glenn is an outstanding lineman, I think too much is being made. They still have one of the best offenses in the NFL.

true there offense will still be close or at the top in the NFL but there pass protection will suffer some.... hello AD and Rosey...

Sure they do. But every hit makes them not AS good and makes it that much less likely that they'll win the AFC.

You don't think left tackle is a key position? That a pro-bowl left tackle could make a difference in pass protection, a big enough difference to give a QB time to get the ball away?

Interesting philosophy. Assuming you truly believe this and are not simply nay-saying in order to be contrary, do you think the OLine in general has any effect at all on how good an offense can be? Or is it just the left tackle where it doesn't make a difference if the starter is a multi-year pro-bowler or a rookie?

Especially when they have a rookie and a 2nd year 6th round pick to replace him. It either means more pressure on Peytey's blind side or extra help from others . . . either way, this is good news if it holds.

Another typical Aqua post, are you really that dumb, or are you just saying something like this to get a reaction? To bad PatsPride wasn't here. I 'd like to read all the new aah compliments he'd come up with to discribe your musings.

You say your here to talk football. If you don't know the importance of the left tackle your not qualified. You need to take the course the patriots teach to women i.e. football 101,and while your takeing it you should bring some of the Doofins organazation along with you. They need the help.

Aquaboy must pay his debt or be banned. :rocker:

Re: Glenn Retiring

One positive for the Colts: they should get some cap relief. They still have to cover Glenn's prior signing bonuses on the cap, but his $4.5 mil salary will go away.

Maybe they can sign some defensive help. They're going to need some help on that side of the ball.

Re: Glenn Retiring

You just don't go out and replace a LT like him. No matter how good a rookie is, it will be a step down this year.

I hate it when bad things happen to the Colts.:rocker:
