ESPN Removes Game 6 (Schilling Bloody Sock) from Sox Documentary

The Russian Communists under Brezhnev didn't try to whitewash and alter history as well as ESPN does.......They would delete the pictures of people who had been 'purged'. How is ESPN any different???
Can't even tell you what number it is on the cable network....

I like the part of Curt's tweet that hasn't gotten any mention here:

"Full one year complete fabrications to defame greatest QB"

Give em hell Curt!

I supported firing him, that was warranted and if anything overdue. But trying to rewrite history so that he's not a part of the '04 WS run is just ridiculous. If they'd needed to edit something out for length, the bloody sock game is probably the last thing that should've gone. It was the most iconic moment of the entire run.

He's a **** who was also a really good baseball player. It happens, and one doesn't cancel the other out. Ty Cobb was a legendarily ****ty person, but last time I checked nobody's trying write him out of MLB history.

So bc BSPN is a privately owned business, they can fire and deny anyone correct? Then why is it that a christian bakery was sued and had to give hundreds of thousands of dollars for refusing to bake a gay marriage cake? Again, a double standard.
The radical left is the law now. You mustn't be watching MSNBC enough....

:p

Are you serious? I mean, I know you are but I honestly can't believe you are acting so intellectually dishonest. No the Constitution doesn't literally have the words "Separation of Church in State" written verbatim in it. But it makes a clear and concise statement regarding just that. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

I mean, this is literally you right now. Area Man Passionate Defender Of What He Imagines Constitution To Be

Anyway I'm tired of sticking my hand through a door frame and repeatedly slamming it shut.

Again, the constitution is clear that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, but to say that the framers meant that to mean separation of church and state is dishonest. Look at the writings of the framers, they all include God, faith, etc... Do you honestly think that Benjamin Franklin would have approved of taking down a nativity scene because its on a public park? I'm not even religious, I think its all a bunch of bs, if you have seen the things that people do to each other that I have in this life, there is no way you can convince me that their is some powerful being overseeing it all, because if he there was, he should be FIRED! But that being said, the whole separation of church and state is a court opinion, the same as the reinstatement of Brady's suspension, and we all universally agree with that.

You got caught lying, you said it was a "constitutional mandated" and it's not. Of course being the liberal that you are instead of admitting that you lied, you go on the attack. I'm sure I'll be called a bigot and racist next.

I wasn't surprised one bit when Schilling tweeted this response.

Jefferson's Wall of Separation Letter

Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802 to answer a letter from them, asking why he would not proclaim national days of fasting and thanksiving, as had been done by Washington and Adams before him. The letter contains the phrase "wall of separation between church and state," which lead to the short-hand for the Establishment Clause that we use today: "Separation of church and state."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

James Madison Quotes (Author of The Constitution of the United States with the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation)

The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries.

[Letter objecting to the use of government land for churches, 1803]”
James Madison

Looks like the scheduled program time got cut short due to a game going long. Add a disclaimer at the beginning of the show about cuts or such.

"Oh you libs are so intolerant of my intolerance a bloo bloo bloo. Sure I think entire groups of people don't deserve the same basic human rights as my own group does but you're the real racist for calling me out on it!"

Cute little argumentum hitlerium btw.

someday Humanity will realize its follies, abandon religion, and unite itself on making humanity something worthwhile.

Seems legit. I mean the important games were 1-3, right?

Wait, whut?

Not to mention the Treaty of Tripoli.

You are arguing against someone who had no factual basis for their position. There's no point.

So a lousy company making an incredibly stupid firing choice has led to yet another discussion showing that people don't understand the U.S. Constitution. Interesting threads of late...

I think this will end when the election does. This forum has been an eyesore of late. That said, I can't remember the same thing happening during the 2008 and 2012 elections.

Tom Brady's legal team needs to contact Curt about being a witness when Brady pursues a defamation case

So...

Bill Simmons
Skip Bayless
Curt Schilling

How much longer before Tedy Bruschi gets asked to leave?

easy way to fix that. just get an "I love Hillary" bumper sticker and overdose on tanning pills like C. Thomas Howell did in Soul Man.

Apparently Trent Dilfer has gotten the boot too. but in ESPN's defense, I think that is based solely on suckage

So proving that something a liberal claimed is a "constitutional right" isn't in the actual constitution is not dealing in facts? It's got to be great to be a liberal!
