And...another feather in Woody Johnson's cap...drum roll...he was Finance Chairman of Jeb Bush's campaign, raising, spending and wasting most of $158 million dollars...he was also Finance Chair of Mitt's campaign...what's the opposite of the Midas Touch?

Jesus. Could you imagine a conversation between Jeb and Woody. How awkward would it be to be a fly on the wall of that room?

I don't think that conversation would be all that awkward. What will be awkward will be the conversations between Woody and the people he strongarmed into writing big checks to a PAC supporting Jeb.

Holy cow. Did I accidently take a sharp left turn (and I do mean sharp) on the way to the Jets Suck Thread?

As free agency begins to rev up, it seems like the Green and White B****es are running out of town, and options. Just another reason why the JEST SUCK!

Jets lose Chris Ivory to Jaguars, and the free-agent exodus is underway

Brace yourself, New York Jets fans. The next few days could be painful.

The free-agent exodus started Tuesday night, with the news that running back Chris Ivory will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, as ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported. The move cannot be made official until 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, when the new league year begins.

Welcome to the Jets' new world. A year ago, it was spend and sign. This year, the cap room is almost dried up.

Ivory was/is great (when healthy). Stinks to lose him. But I'm hearing he got a 5 year deal @6.5mil/per.

Sorry, but just not worth it. Glad Macc didn't match (or even come close) to that offer.
Just face facts: you're in for another season of futility and despair. Another veritable laff riot aboard Woody's Clown Car.

Curse you, Kensil! Curse you, Goodell! You and your scum-sucking, bottom-feeding crew of malignant parasites have undermined even the healthy pleasure I take in watching the Jets spiralling slowly and inevitably into the ground.

This will be fun to watch. With Fitzpatrick entering free agency, the Green Beans will be scraping again at quarterback as well (which is where they belong). No way they win 10 games this season.

Last year was a great situation for the new regime (Macc n Bowles). Tons of money to spend and an easy schedule.

Honeymoon is over. Schedule this upcoming season looks ridiculous (for the Pats too btw). Really curious to see how this offseason is handled. Even if they could have manged to bring back the same team, it would've been a waste. 8 wins max.

Need to shed/restucture some high-priced vets and get younger. Even if it means 2016 is rough.

Really curious to see what they do w/Fitz. Sounds like he's looking for a big pay day. If it's over 6mil, hope Jets let him leave. Save the $, restructure some vets and use the space and draft to fill holes and get younger. Basically giving Geno/Petty a decent shot at succeeding. Unlike what they did to Geno his first years.

Should be fun seeing what Macc does.

Watching the Jets flush themselves slowly down the toilet is always enjoyable for me. Plus, both those guys are former Jest fans, so it makes things like this even better to watch. But I do agree, F them with the rays of 1000 suns!

Geno will have absolutely zero shot at succeeding if he looks like this...

Forte will do.

Yeah, congratulations. You now are the proud owners of a player north of 30 who might have to be the lead back with Ivory and possibly Powell leaving. Jets are the masters at that (cough*Revis*cough).

Now all you need is a competent QB to hand him the bal.....ooop. Nvm.
