I don't know what demographics might have to do with it, but it seems that most Jets fans also are Mets fans, and most Giants fans also are Yankees fans.

Most of the time (but not always, don't wanna group all of 'em together), the Giant/Yankee fan seems to be stricken with "bipolar front-runner-ism". It's a sad disease. The type that find something better to do when the team(s) are losing and brush it off when the subject is brought up, but when the teams are winning... insufferable bandwagon annoyances.
