Just lost a friend to this type of cancer a month ago. He was diagnosed with Stage IV as well and got two years.

The good news, though, is that new treatments are coming down every single day. The President wasn't kiddingin the SoTU when he said we were almost there...and it's way past time for a joint effort to beat this wretched disease (I've buried a brother and a sister to it).

Hang in there, Mort. Dana Farber is your friend. Best wishes.
