Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

He was probably home alone, got food poisoning, was puking his guts out and went to the police station for help, which they gave him. They are right that they are not allowed to give out any medical info (HIPPA). If he's practicing and there was no law enforcement involvement, there is nothing to see here, but as usual, the Herald is ready, willing and able to make a huge mountain out of a tiny molehill. Here's our new "scandal" for those who were looking for one. Sigh.

Something about Foxboro police taking him to the hospital and 'securing his home'.

Apparently, Jones was 'rushed to the hospital' with a medical emergency Sunday night.
Also, the police seem to be deleting records about what was wrong.

Third post about it. So far.

Read the board before posting!

Duh.

I'm worried he got something caught in his zipper. Obviously he was in a panic and left the house without locking the door.

My guess:He probably has a food allergy, ate something he wasn't supposed to eat and went to the hospital.

Frank's and beans.....

At 7:40 AM on a Sunday morning? More likely he had some medical issue, didn't want to drive, and didn't want a huge fuss from calling an ambulance.

740AM on a sunday morning for a football player on a off weekend?? Please thats when the party starts for some of them lol

I dunno what happned. It could be a medical issue, or it could be a minor domestic issue, and Chandler just dotted his I's and crossed his T's. All I know, hes been at practice last 2 daysx so it might not be that serious.

The statement used the magic word "admitted." You aren't admitted to a hospital these days unless it's something potentially significant. If you come in via the ER (as would be the case here) you can be discharged, placed in observation or admitted.

Why go to a police station over a hospital? If he was hiding anything that's the last place he'd go.
It is kinda weird....

We can speculate all day over it. I'm glad hes ok and no legal issues and will be on the field kicking ass this coming Saturday.

unfortunately this story will likely be granted some legs..
